I stopped by at Samar’s school and picked him up then drove to the hotel Esther requested we meet
I packed the car at the parking lot then walked into the hotel with Samar, I eye searched for Esther and meet her sitting on a chair close to the window
“Sam let’s meet up with your wife” I says and he giggled
“Hey! Thought you wouldn’t Make it” She hugs me and carried Samar up
“Hey husband, I missed you” she says and I laughed
“I miss you too, Aunt Amily won’t allow me see you” he pouts
“It’s not her fault, it’s mine actually I got really occupied”
“You less busy now?” he asks and Esther nodded
“Samar I need to talk to your sister privately so can you please…..”
“OK! I will wait in the car , I have my chocolates” Samar says and rush out
Esther stared at me and immediately our eyes meet she took her eyes off sighing
“sorry for not calling and for leaving your house like I did last five days” she stated
“No! It’s fine I won’t blame you anyway” I laughed, a nervous laugh
“Can I ask?” I added and she nods
“Uhmm how do you Vanessa?” I asked and her expression changed but she was fast to cover her up
“Let’s just say we attended the same college” she says after a while
“And, you too didnt get along?”
“Well! She laughs “Maybe”
“Maybe?? Okay” I said
Another silence find it way in as we both waited for each other to speak first , Seriously it’s still unbelievable to me that am sitting here with Esther and talking like old friends
Let just say future has it’s way of smiling at people
“So about the contract I said earlier have you made up your mind?” She breaks the silence
“Uhm, yeah I have decide” I says to her
“And..? Your final answer?”

I stared nervously at her hoping her answer will be yes
I really like her and wants her for my brother, I don’t know but I sees pretty girl who are naive and crazy like her but suprisely my attention was just on her
“Well what if I say ….No??” She says and I felt my heart break
Why? Because i love my brothers more than any treasures in this world and all i want is seeing them happy nothing else
“No? Uhmmm I won’t force you…….you decide and I have no right to force you though i have the power” I smiled
Deep down i was broken she turned me down but I all acted up
“I hope we still be friends? Thanks for your Cooperation” I said to her and stood up grabbing my bag
I was about taking the fifth step when I heard her voice
“I never said No…I just said what if I said No” she says and slipped her coffee
“Isn’t it obvious? You’re answer is no….look I aren’t forcing you okay? We’re good” I says and turned to walked put but again her word stopped me
“Well well…..I accept the contract” she says and my eyes sparks in jubilation
“Is that yes?” I said blinking my eyes at her
“Obviously” she says and I smiled then nodded
“Obviously”
