Sergei’s grey brows rumpled for a while before he nodded.

“Of course”

She smiled and kissed his cheeks, and when they got in, he dropped her in the midst of several ready gifts.

She started jumping around, and the three maids around helped her in unboxing.

While at it, Sergei went outside with Selesta.

“You’re playing a dangerous game with Death, and you know this won’t end well if he finds out. Madden will slice my head” she said fearfully.

“Not when I’m here. Just calm down, and all these will be over even before you blink” Sergei calmly said.

“And you think you can hold that devil down with Angelika? He hates kids like mad” Selesta said.

“Not if the kid is his own” Sergei replied, smiling.

Selesta sighed.

CLAN, 7PM*

The sèx ring mission is tomorrow, and after preparatory duelling for hours at the training ground and a warm shower, Loud and Adeline left for the kitchen.

There are packs of mobsters under the trampoline, drinking and chatting.

“Dinner will come late tonight… Lady Selesta is still cooking” Malik said.

They both found seats and joined the waiting .

Jinx and Poe are among the crowd too, even Sin and Trixie, and they’re all so chatty.

Loud got bottles of vodka for Adeline as promised, and she smiled at him before starting to drink.

Surprisingly, she’s drinking more than usual .

Within five minutes, she finished two bottles, then she wiped her lips with her palm before taking the third one.

“You ok?” Loud and Malik asked at the same time, and she nodded before opening that one, drinking again.

Today is even worse than yesterday… She hasn’t set her eyes on Madden at all, and it’s affecting her more than she expected.

Loud was right… She’s only acting tough.

“Shall we play a game?” Poe suddenly stood.

“No one wants to” Loud replied.

“It could be fun” Sin said.

“What’s it gonna be about?” Trixie asked.

Jinx tried to pull Poe back to her seat, but she wouldn’t budge.

“Tell us one secret about yourselves, everyone” she said.

“Is that even a game or you’re only looking for trouble?” Malik said.

“Shut up and get out if you’re not interested” Poe barked, and Malik grunted.

“I’ll go first. Y’all might not know but I’ve been blind before” Poe said.

“Y’all might not know but I am neither an Orlov nor a Smirnov. I’m an outsider” Trixie said.

“Y’all might not know but i… I’m a bad person” Sin slowly said.

“Why don’t you go next, Micheal?” Poe sneered, and Adeline looked up.

She’s currently on the fourth bottle.

Everyone turned to her again, just like yesterday at the kitchen.

“Stop it, Poe” Loud strictly said, but then Adeline stood, her eyes bulging.

“She’s drunk” Jinx muttered.

“Say it, your secret” Poe insisted.

“Y’all might not know, but I…”

Adeline trailed off and shut her eyes before opening it.

Poe held her breaths, expecting her to spill the beans in her drunk state.

“Y’all might not know, but I want my Master back” Adeline completed, and Poe scoffed as Adeline left the trampoline with the fourth bottle.

Loud stood to follow her…

“Stop following him like a puppy… I’m starting to suspect you’re gay” Malik said, and Loud fell back on his seat, looking restless.

His eyes met with Jinx’s, and he glared before looking away.

They haven’t talked to each other since they left the kitchen yesterday.
