“I’m still so suspicious about your change” Selesta replied as he sat back to continue eating.
“I only wanna be on the winning team” he shrugged, and Selesta chuckled, serving him some more.
“I’ve been meaning to ask…” He suddenly inched closer to her.
“Ask what?” She squinted.
“What I’ve been hearing about the real father of Angelika, is it true?” He whispered.
Lady Selesta took the glass of water in front of him and poured it all on his face.
“Selesta!” He gasped as he stood.
“You’re a man, but you gossip like a woman… Get out!” She snarled, entering the inner kitchen.
“You’re mean!” Malik shouted after her, but then she saw Jinx’s phone on the table and took it.
“She forgot this?”

MAYA’S SUITE*
Sitting in front of the middle table in her room, Maya has tears in her eyes as she stared at the burning candles, her tears causing their lights to blur.
She’s holding the knife to her wrist, ready to cut as she imagined herself getting injected by the Masked Monster.
Seeing Madden like that earlier scared the shit out of her, and telling him to kill her was probably the scariest shit she has ever spewed.
She already thought his madness is getting better, but now that the Monster is back…
Won’t she take him away from her completely?
She wiped her tears, then she closed her eyes and was about to slice her wrist when the door bursted open, and Madden came in.
She made to quickly cut, but Madden was quicker.
He snatched the knife from her and threw it outside the window.
“This is the shit you’re doing in here? I’ve been knocking for one minute straight without an answer from you” He said.
Maya’s eyes went aglow with craziness as she went to the window and started trying to jump down and get the knife back.
Immediately she raised her first leg, Madden pulled her back, and she started crying again.
“Give me the knife!!!”
“Fûck the damn knife and get over it!” He yelled.
“Fûck you too just get me my knife!!!” She cried again.
“Mayashenka!!” He yelled, and instead of answering, she dug her teeth into his chest, biting him till blood erupted.
Madden didn’t move as his blood stained his shirt and her lips.
“She’s gonna take you away from me” she whispered.
“No fuçking body is taking me!” He held her face.
“But she injected you again!!” She yelled.
“Maya!” Klara rushed into the room.
Actually, a compound guard reported to her about screams coming from this suite.
“She’s gonna take him away” Maya muttered in tears, and Klara held her face.
“No one is taking anyone, Maya dear”
“That’s a lie! The last day of my injection, she told me she was gonna take my brother away, and she’s back!” Maya shouted, crying louder.
Trixie was the third person to rush in. “Get Andrei” she said.
“Abort that plan” Madden deadpanned.
“But I’ve seen him calm her down a lotta times. Please” Trixie replied.
Klara sent a guard to call Andrei, and he appeared within the twinkle of an eye.
He took Maya from Klara and carried her in his arms, taking her into the bedroom.
He lay her down and started blowing air from his mouth to her face, holding her right hand.
She held him so tight that her nails dug into his skin, but he didn’t retract.
“She’s… She’s gonna…. take…him…him… She’s gonna…
She was babbling like that till her eyes closed, and she finally slept off.
She still didn’t leave Andrei’s hand even in her sleep.
Madden left the room, and Klara followed him till they got to the corridor.
“Give me a few more days… Erik will be gone” she whispered, and he stopped to face her.
“You’ve been saying that shit for years” he smirked darkly.
“I’m for real this time. The poison fermented already” she said and tried to touch him, but he glared, and she dropped her hand.
“Did the Masked Monster appear again like Maya said? What exactly happened?” She asked.
“I’ll handle it myself” he replied uninterested and resumed his walk.
“About Sergei…When will you forgive me?” she talked again, and he turned back, his eyes like razors and cutting her deeply.
“Talk about that to my ears again, and I’ll disown you as my mother” he warned and left finally.
