They didn’t go straight to the residence, they went to the kitchen where they met several food of choices waiting in warming glasses.
“Isn’t it weird that I’ve never met the lady in charge of this kitchen? Her meals make too much sense” Adeline said as she got some thick pancakes, honey and cola.
Loud got the same thing then added an extra tray for Nikolai.
“You’ll meet the kitchen lady soon, she’s not always around” he said as they left the kitchen.
“But don’t you think you should think of ways to make your master soften towards you?” He suddenly said.
“Like what?” Adeline faced him.
“The bruises on his face, if you could squeeze your way into the clinic without Igor’s knowledge and get him treatments. He might reward you, who knows?” Loud suggested.
“I don’t even need to break into the clinic. My balm is effective, my neck is back to normal, check it out” Adeline showed him the neck.
“On point” he smiled, and Adeline returned it as they entered their residence.

CLAN CLINIC*
There are five professional nurses there in total, and they’re all part of the clan too.
Igor had kidnapped them from a local hospital in Alabama and brought them here five years ago.
They were initially seven, but two tried to escape last year, and Igor had them killed.
Since then, the other five have been around his fingers.
They never go against him, and his word is law in the clinic.
Igor performed surgery on Malik and had his stomach stitched up already, and right now, two of the nurses are taking him back to the ward.
Igor sat in the hallway, the bright LED light on the ceiling messing with his eyes as he thought about various ways to get back at Madden.
Madden must surely pay for this.
Andrei is not beside him. He made him stay outside so he can be alone, but his alone time was interrupted when Erik came in.
“I don’t wanna talk to you, father” Igor said without looking up.
Erik sat beside him, his slight sprinkle of grey hair peeking from the middle of his hair.
“You’ve always been like this since you were young. Fuming over subtle matters” Erik said flatly.
“Subtle? You call this subtle? He killed two of our men and Malik is still unconscious!” Igor spranged up.
“And that’s because you sent them. You should carry the blame and not try to push it on Madden! He only did what he should have” Erik defended.
“Fûck it, you’d defend him even with your last effing breath, isn’t it? You and mother never saw me the same way you saw him! I’m always the outcast and he’s the heir!
I bet when you die, he’ll become the next Pakhan and take your place instead of me. I am the oldest son!” Igor thundered, and Erik slowly stood, holding his shoulder firmly.
Igor glared at him.
“Madden organized a meeting with five important people from the organization, and it’s happening tomorrow. One of the five funded the Wild Boars attack, and Madden will be trapping him.
Prove to me that you’re worthy of being the next Pakhan by moving faster than Madden. Kill the traitor before he does, Igor, then we can have this conversation again” Erik said.
He huffed before walking out, and Igor became restless immediately.
He will…he must.
