Kimberly went silent, and Adeline scoffed again.
“Corey killed our parents because I dated him, so you believe the cross is mine to carry, right?. I’ll do all I can to get to the root if it all, just warn your Igor to stay out of my way” Adeline said and left her.
Kimberly stilled till she went out of sight, then she snickered.
“So annoying like damn” she said before leaving.
A minute later, Angelika came out from her usual spot behind the frozen sunflowers. She has many of the flowers in her hair
She sighed sadly before heading back to the compound.

KITCHEN*
“Where’s Jinx? Are you both at odds?” Lady Selesta asked as she served breakfast for Loud.
He’s sitting at the kitchen table, inhaling the steam from the spaghetti.
“Don’t talk to me about Jinx. Micheal is my only real buddy in this compound” Loud replied, and Selesta smiled, serving him more.
“You should eat heavily. Heard tomorrow’s mission is heavy” she said.
“Yeah” Loud replied, and Jinx entered the kitchen.
“Spaghetti? Macarons? Rice?” Selesta asked.
“Anyone” Jinx smiled, joining Loud on the table.
Loud continued eating without a word.
“C’mon are you still salty about last night? It was wrong to punch Poe and you knew it” she said.
“She punched me first, the fûck!” Loud looked up.
“But she just woke up from coma with her face like that. You don’t expect her to be non-aggressive” Jinx replied.
“You’d do anything to protect her, isn’t it? Even if she kills Micheal” Loud said, dropping his fork.
“Who’s killing me?” Adeline replied, entering the kitchen.
“My buddy is back!” Loud beamed, and Adeline grinned, hugging him before fist-bumping with Jinx.
She settled down and took Loud’s food, then she began eating with another fork.
Jinx sat with them, and Lady Selesta started serving their different meals.
“Michael, you might wanna stay back for tomorrow’s mission. Mercy and Stravinsky were tight friends and she might revenge” Jinx said.
“I killed Stravinsky because he betrayed The Pakhan, not unjustly” Adeline replied, still eating.
“The problem is you, don’t you get it? If it was Death or The Pakhan who killed Stravinsky, then it’d be cool. It’s considered disrespect in his tribe no matter what his offence was. Mercy will want to revenge” Jinx said.
“I still don’t care… I’m going. Master said I’d be going” Adeline replied.
“That’s the spirit” Loud encouraged, and Adeline stuck hands with him.
“You both are the same thing” Jinx shook her head, and Lady Selesta smiled, watching them.
“By the way where’s my baby? Angelika?” Adeline suddenly asked.
Lady Selesta looked around and sighed in frustration.
“She must be in the forest again. She’s too obsessed with catching butterflies and sunflowers” she said, and Angelika immediately came in.
“I’m here” she grudgingly said, her hair filled with sunflowers.
