“How could you be so forgetful to delete the footage at the school? Christen reprimanded Cheng as they drive back home
” Am sorry for my carelessness Boss” Assistant Cheng apologized
“This shouldn’t repeated itself next time” Christen warned sternly
” It won’t happen again boss” he replied and the car became quiet for some moments
” Boss I must really say that Lui Chen is indeed a smart” Cheng started a conversation
” Of course he must be smart, after all he is my bIood and obviously he took after me” Christen replied proudly with a smile
Cheng shook his head seeing how proud his boss was

AT THE LIU’S MANSION
In the big living room, the family could be seen consoling the crying Ruby who doesn’t seems to
“Stop crying Ruby, this is not the end of the world” Zoey Ruby’s mother consoled
” Mom it is the end of the world, my husband company had gone bankrupt and I as his wife got blacklisted from the entertainment industry, how is it not the end of the world?? Ruby cried out
“But how did all this happened? This is too much” Grandma Xi said feeling pity for her granddaughter
Just then Sean walked in angrily with a file in his hand
“Son-in-law you are here? Joshua (Ruby and Chanty’s father) asked happily as he saw Sean
” Please Mr Liu, am not here to smile with anybody nor do I want anyone’s sympathy” Sean replied rudely to everyone’s shock
“You wretched woman! My life was ruined all of you, I went to disgrace Chanty just to avenge you but bankruptcy is what I got in return” he shouted angrily
“What? Chanty is back? The family was surprised
” Are you surprised?Sean asked with a disgusting smile
And”Yes Chanty is back to the country, not only that she is now a chief designer at the Shen company” he added
“Shen enterprises?? The family repeated in shock
” There’s no need for long talks” Sean said and face Ruby
“Here you must sign this in two days” he said throwing the file in his hand to her
Everyone glance at the paper and their eyes widened in shock
” DIVORCE??? They all shouted
“Yes divorce, am divorcing you Ruby Liu, I don’t want to have anything to do with a wretched woman like you anymore! Sean replied
Ruby sprang up and held Sean’s hand
“Please Sean,you can’t divorce me, you can’t just break our marriage all because of Chanty” Ruby begged desperately in tears
” Yes son-in-law, reconsider your decision,you and Ruby have been married for five years, you can’t just break your marriage because of that bastard daughter of mine” Joshua chirped in
“I don’t care! Sean replied and tried to leave but Ruby held him back
” Sean I beg you don’t divorce me,I can’t lose you as well,I promise to do anything you want, just don’t divorce me” Ruby cried
“You sure to do everything I want? He asked calmly
” Yes.. Yes…I promise to do everything you want” Ruby replied hurriedly
“Then find a way to convince Chanty to beg Shen Luan to help my company,if you can do that I promise not to divorce you” with that he left
” CHANTYYYYYYY!!! Ruby shouted in her mind balling her fist angrily

“Boss are you sure that the plan will work? Am not sure Mrs Lin will do what you asked her” Zach said as they drive back
“Of course it will, Ruby will definitely do anything in order for me not to divorce her, you will see that before the end of today,the company will be back on its feet” Sean replied confidently
“Ok Boss” Zach replied with a smile

” Today’s presentation was the best” Marita one of Chanty’s colleague said as they all came out of the meeting room
“You are right Marita” they all agreed
“Designer Liu made it more interesting” Mia one of them added and Chanty laugh
“Thank you Mia, you all work hard” Chanty said with a big smile
” Thank you Ms Liu” they chorused
” I’ll see you guys later” Chanty said as she got to the front door of her office
” Ok designer Liu” they all disperse to their various departments
Chanty walked into her office and slump down on the sofa tiredly
She was really exhausted and sleepy after today’s presentation
“It’s won’t be bad to take a short nap” she muttered smiling sheepishly before laying on the couch
Just as she was about to take a nap, she heard her phone ringing
She groaned frustratedly as her plans of napping got interrupted
She stood up from the couch and walk to her table where her phone was laying
She pick her phone and her eyes squinted seeing the unfarmiliar number
“Who might own this number? She thought before answering the call
?Hello, this Chanty speaking” she said as she answered the call
? Come to the mansion right now! A farmiliar authoritative voice from the other end
?Mr Liu why should I come to that old Mansion of yours
? You bstard! How dare you talk to your father like that?? Joshua shouted angrily
?It seems like you have a bad brain, should I remind you that six years ago you disowned me,so how are you my father? She retorted and Joshua was quiet for some time before replying
?I don’t care! Come to the Mansion right now or else I will burn all your mother pictures” he threatened and hung up
Chanty balled her fist in anger as she remembers Joshua threat
Joshua really knows how to get to her,he knew how much she cherished her mother’s photos because those pictures are the only memories she had left with her mother before she died
Chanty pick her bag and left her office for Christen’s office
She was almost at his office when she saw him coming out of the elevator
“President Shen” she called loudly stopping Christen from entering his office
” Ms Liu” Christen said with a smile
“Good afternoon President Shen” she bowed and he nodded in reply
“Is there any problem Ms Liu? He asked seeing how uneasy she looks
” President Shen can I ask for two hours leave? She asked politely
” Are you going to somewhere important? He asked
“Yes it is very important” she replied
” Ok but you have to be back before the next meeting” he allowed
” No problem sir, I’ll be back before then” she replied with a smile
” Ok you can leave” he said
“Thank you” she bowed and left hurriedly
After she was no more in sight, Christen faced Cheng
“You know what to do right? He asked
” Definitely boss” Assistant Cheng replied with a smile
