I don’t know what is wrong with me . I reacted so badly at the hospital and Annalisa just got angry and left . My big mouth couldn’t keep quite . Now Ethan is in trouble because of me .
I wonder what Annalisa is doing to Ethan right now . I bet she is frying him up for telling me about her health . You know what , that doesn’ matter anymore because she will eventually forgive me for lying . Ethan will understand though .
Annalisa is like my other half . She brings out the best in me . When I’m around her , I’m able to say whatever I want and whenever I want to . She doesn’t judge me or anything . She just keeps annoying me in an amazing way . It’s like without her , I’m nothing .
When I arrived home . I quitely sneaked in the kitchen only to find Ethan with his mother . Ethan was busy on his cellphone while his mother stirred up something at the stove . I stood at the doorway taking everything in . I finally sallowed my pride and said something because they didn’t see me standing at the doorway.
” Hello Mrs McKenzie ” I said politely . She quickly stared at me then back at the stove .
” Hayden ” She answered” Why don’t you go take a shower while I finish up . “She said without glancing over me.
” Okay . ” I eyed Ethan as he furiously hanged up his cellphone phone ” Are you alright man?” I asked and he turned around quickly .
The minute Ethan’s eyes met Mine . I just knew something was up . ” Isabella is missing Hayden !” He pointed furiously ” I can’t find her anywhere . I’m worried to death ”
” What ? When ?” I shot back quickly ” Did you find any clues? Maybe she went out with her friends or something . ” I said thoughtfully even though Isabella never goes out .
” Unfortunately she didn’t Hayden . ” Ethan’s Mother replied ” I think Annalisa kidnapped her . God knows what she is doing to that Isabella girl ” she touched her heart while staring at Ethan .
” Damn …. Only if I just held on to Annalisa a little harder , she could have said something . ” Ethan breathed out angrily ” I can’t believe Annalisa was planning this all along . ”
” Umhmm….Can you all fill me up here ? I’m a little confused . What really happened today ?” I took a sit and stared at Ethan ” Where is Annalisa anyways ?”I looked around in confusion.
” Annalisa is gone . We kicked her out Hayden .” Ethan’s Mother mumbled ” It’s for the bestand beside she is the reason Ethan is hurting right now . ”
” For the best ?” Now I was angry ” How dare you intefer with our house issues ? This is also my house .” I pointed out . ” Ethan could have told me before he kicked Annalisa out. ”
I can’t believe this shit . Who does Ethan think he is to decide on what to do without me knowing . He always takes the bigger decisions without my concernt . Ethan’s Mother gave me a dead look while Ethan just stared at ne blankly .
” I didn’t say anything when you brought Isabella here . I respected your decision Ethan but now this , you know very well that Annalisa has no one right now ” I half yelled ” I thought you were smarter than this .”
” Hey boy , Don’t you dare talk to my son like that. He can do whatever he wishes . ” His mother defended him ” He is a McKenzie .” She leaned on the kitchen counter ” Now get out of here before I chase you out myself .”
” What the he¢k ?” I looked at Ethan and he looked away ” Are you kicking me out too ? Ethan say something !” I questioned .
” Get out boy ! Ethan has got nothing to say to you . ” She said sharply ” Now go , go home to your stupid desperate parents. ” Actually that was the first time Ethan’s Mother has ever been rude to me . I didn’t dare look at her because I couldn’t hold back the anger building up inside me any longer .
” Just go Hayden .” Ethan shrugged before he turned around and typed something on his cellphone ” I will send you all the money you need . I guess that’s what you want . ”
” You won’t send him anything Ethan . I knew from the day I saw this Hayden boy that all he wanted from you was Money. ” His mother added” He is as poor as his family. Get out , you fool .”
I gathered myself together and walked out of the house before Ethan’s Mother can attack me with more hurtful words . When I got in my car , I immediately called Annalisa. It took her forever to answer but she finally did .
” Hello Annalisa . ” I breathed out ” It’s Hayden here . Where are you at ?” I asked quickly wanting to come to her rescue .
” I’m at Cassandra’s apartment Hayden. What do you want ? ” She said softly ” I’m not in the mood ”
” I’m coming over right now ” I hanged up before she could refuse. . Thank God she is safe .
Ethan has disappointed me today. I thought we were brothers for like but he never said anything when his mother insulted me. He just stood there looking like a statue. I can’t believe that he still listens to his mother. I don’t care that they kicked me out . Ethan’s Mother can go to hell for what I care but Ethan is my brother , my best friend and I won’t give up on me. His mother is capable of anything and I hope she didn’t kidnap Isabella . Ethan must think smart before he can trust his mother again. I hope he manages to outsmart his mother .
Annalisa took some time to finally let me in the apartment . I found her wearing a bathrobe with towel around her wet hair . The apartment looked pretty good. It has been long since I came here .
” So Cassandra just gave you her apartment out of the blue ?” I took in the apartment as I sat down on the couch.
” Actually it took a while to finally reach Cassandra in Paris . She is having a lot of time with Daniel ” she stood at the doorway ” She paid a whole year rent for this apartment . So she has given it to me until she comes back . ”
” That was so sweet of her. ” I said thoughtfully ” A least you got a place to stay . I have to drive home. “. I announced and she shot me a questioning look .
” What for ? It’s late . You should go over at Ethan’s but be careful around that house. ”
” Ethan’s Mother kicked me out so I don’t have nowhere to go except home Annalisa. ”
” I’m not surprised . I don’t even care what she had fed Ethan this time. All I care about right now is finding Isabella. ” She shrugged ” Ethan’s Mother told Ethan that I stole Isabella that’s why he kicked me out too. ”
” She did what ? That woman is a devl herself. I don’t even know what gave her the right to kick all of us out of that house ” I said filtering the insults i got from her.
” I know right but it’s pointless talking about it . ” She said ” Can you help me find Isabella ? I’m worried sick about her right now .”
” Sure . I know where she is. ” I took out my cellphone ” I just need my phone to get fully charged. It’s off ” I looked around .
” You know where she is ? Did you take her ?” She said quickly .” Huh ?”
“No . !” I laughed ” She is wearing this bracelet I bought for her. And through it , I can track her down. All I need is a charger and we will be good to go . ”
” Thank God .” She quickly took my phone and ran out of the room with it . I’m a little tired and sleepy . They drive to home is gonna be long . I have no other choice but to stay here tonight . Im wondering if Annalisa would agree.
One thing I’m sure about is that Isabella is at Annalisa’s house . I don’t know how or why she went there but that was the last thing I saw through my tracking device before my phone shut down . I don’t want to tell anyone yet because where she is at is like home . Maybe she went there looking for answers or something . Tomorrow morning , I’m going to make sure that I drive over there alone .
I could have told Ethan but he was pretty occupied with his mother . I don’t trust his mother,that’s why I didn’t tell him anything in front of her . I’m gonna text him the Minute my phone turns on . For now , I’m seriously tired.
” I’m sorry about what happened at the hospital . I just couldn’t hold back my emotions. ” I apologized the second Annalisa walked in the room .
” It’s fine Hayden . I’m over that ” she glanced at me ” I’m very thankful that you were there . I don’t know what I could have done ”
” I guess crying was the only thing you could have done. ” I smiled ” Can I stay over for the night ? I will take the couch if you want. ”
” No , you can absolutely join me in the bedroom. I don’t mind ” she winked ” I love having you around. “she licked her lips .
” Ooh really ?” I smirked and she nodded . I guess you all see where this is going . ” lead the way baby ” I held out my hand and she grabbed it .
