CHAPTER 37
Ariel opened her eyes, and just when she was about sitting up in the bed, Jaycee and the rest of the members except for Nora, rushed towards her.
“Are you all right?” They asked at the same time.
Ariel was about to answer, but she stopped halfway when she saw Nora.
She came down from the bed and approach Nora, grabbing her collar.
“Ariella!!!” The team called her name at once.
“Are you happy now that another soul is gone?” Ariel asked as her eyes became misty.
“Let go of me Ariella, I didn’t do anything wrong” Nora said, trying to free herself from Ariel’s grip, but Ariel was stronger than her.
“Really? You didn’t do anything wrong, up still now, you don’t realize what you have done?
You were making a video when you were supposed to be watching out for the criminal, and because of your ignorant, another soul died
You aren’t feeling remorseful for it!!!” Ariel shouted at her, and Nora managed to push Ariel away from her
“Why should I be remorseful when they are not my family?” She asked.
“They don’t have to be your family before you care about them.
Do you have any idea how miserable the girl’s family is going to be because of your carelessness?”
“You have no right to lecture me Ariella, you are the rude one among us, who thinks she is the boss of this world. I am sure you are just a cursed child!!” Nora yelled at Ariel.
Ariel tried to attack Nora, but Dario prevented her from doing so, by holding her hand, and Jaycee and Brett looked at the way Dario held her.
“I think you should leave Nora” Jessica said.
“Jessica, you should be on my side. You have always been on my side” Nora said, looking surprised that Jessica wasn’t supporting her, because Jessica have always supported her in everything she does.
“You are right Nora, I have always supported everything you do regardless of what it could be, but this time you went beyond boundaries.
Another soul died but you are not feeling sorry about it” Jessica said.
“But it’s not my fault, I was just making a trending video for my tiktok account” Nora said, shedding tears.
“That’s where you went wrong Nora. We all planned to catch the criminal tonight, you should have been focused on that, not making videos when you are on a mission”
“Are you mad at me?” She asked.
“You want to know the truth? Yes I am mad at you Nora, that’s why I suggest you go back to the dormitory and have a rethink about what you have done” Jessica said.
Nora hiccups in tears, and ran out of the ward, Jessica looked at her from the glass window and sighed.
“Are you feeling better now?” Jaycee asked.
“Yes I am fine. You can let go of my hand Dario, Nora is no longer here” Ariel said.
“Sorry” Dario said, and let go of Ariel’s hand.
“Why did you faint earlier Ariella?” Brett asked.
“Are you traumatized by the sight of seeing blood?” Dario asked.
“Why were you calling your name earlier?” Jaycee asked.
“Who is Ariella?” Jessica asked.
Ariel looked at them and said. “My life has nothing to do with any of you, so stop interfering in my personal life” Ariel said.
“We are just worried about you, Ariella?” Dario said.
“I am fine. Thanks for worrying about me” Ariel said, in a low voice.
“We should return back to school, I am sure we are going to get scold, because we saw the killer, and yet we couldn’t catch him” Jaycee said.
Ariel sighed.
“I will just go back to the dormitory” Ariel said, walking away, and Jessica quickly held her hand.
“Let’s go back to the dormitory together” Jessica said, hoping Ariel won’t jerked her off.
“Alright” Ariel said, and they left the ward.
