CHAPTER 27

Melanie entered the class and went to sit beside Lauren and Julie.

“You’re late today,” Lauren pouts.

“Sorry” Melanie smiled shortly.

“Are you okay? You left in tears yesterday” Julie asked.

“I’m fine, I just saw something disgusting” Melanie muttered

Lauren stared at her.

“Is it what I think it is?” She raised a brow.

“Yea, obviously. But don’t worry, I’m fine” Melanie smiled

“Is there something I’m not aware of?” Julie asked.

“Well, Melanie caught her supposed best friend sleeping with her boyfriend”

“What?!” Julie gasped.

“Shocked, right? I was too, gosh can’t believe those two right now” Lauren muttered.

“Are you okay? It must have hurt a lot” Julie said sadly.

“I’m fine, I’m getting over it anyway”

“Stop looking at me with those eyes, I’m fine, really!” Melanie grinned.

“Do you know how to get that off your mind?” Julie suddenly asked.

“If you wanna forget them easily, then do what you’re best at. Take your mind off everything and do it with all the happiness in you, trust me you’ll forget about it” Julie advised.

“Is that real?” Lauren asked.

“Yeah, it works a lot,” Julie smiled.

“Thanks, I’ll try that,” Melanie said.

“You won’t regret it, trust me?” Julie winked.

Kylie watched as Melanie discussed with her friends, a smile playing on his lips.

“She’s just so beautiful,” he mumbled.

“Then ask her out than you acting like a fool” Leon, his friend snapped beside him.

“I’m gonna do that soon, you don’t have to be harsh” Kylie eyed him.

“Whatever” Leon rolled his eyes.

Their first class was over and the whole hall was noisy.

“Should we take a stroll?” Lauren suggested.

“Not a bad idea,” Julie said.

The trio stood up and left the class.

“She made friends so easily,” Paisley said to herself.

“She’s just so dumb, so annoying” she shook her head.

Melanie was taking a stroll with her friends when they came across Ace. Melanie rolled her eyes and walked past him.

Ace caught her hand and the next thing that followed was a sound of his cheek.

“In your life… I repeat, in your life, don’t you ever touch me with those disgusting hands again. Manwhore” Melanie spat and walked away.

Ace’s hand flew to his cheeks, his eyes wide in surprise.

“Did she just do that to me?” He asked no one in particular.

A4’S SUITE***

“You mean your parents found out about your house?” Aaron yelled in shock.

“Just a day of not wearing your mask, this had to happen” Aiden said.

“So, what did they say?” Ace asked.

“I chased them away, they’re just so annoying” Axel shut his eyes.

“But, don’t you think you need to go home?” Aaron asked.

Axel threw a harsh glare at him and he quickly zipped up his mouth.

“Sorry,” he chuckled.

“You don’t need to put on a mask anymore, right?” Ace asked.

“There’s no need since they found where he stays now” Aiden muttered.

“I’m leaving,” Axel stood up.

“So soon?” Aiden asked.

“Yeah… Tonight is the freshman party, right?” Axel asked back..

“That’s true tho” Aaron mumbled.

“See you guys later” Axel left the house.

“He’s slowly changing,” Ace mumbled.

“Who? Axel?” Aiden asked.

“Think he’s getting himself back without the mask on” Aaron giggled
