CHAPTER 53

SENIOR’S BLOCK***

Audrey sat in the class, staring at the entrance door at intervals hoping for Axel to come in at that moment.

“When is he coming?” She groaned.

She glanced at Sienna.

“Does she stay in the hostel?” She asked.

“Who?” Sienna asked cluelessly.

Audrey rolled her eyes and stood up.

“Nevermind,” she left the class.

“What’s wrong with her?” Sienna shrugged her shoulders.

HEARTS COLLISION : CHAPTERS 51 – 60

Melanie was sitting outside, talking with Julie and Lauren when Paisley passed by.

Melanie quickly stood up and went after her. She held her arm and Paisley turned to her.

“Aren’t you gonna ask about Mom and Dad?” Melanie asked gently. She thought she could hate the girl in front of her but no, she couldn’t.

She was just like a sister to her, it wasn’t easy to forget her that way. And, she misses her greatly.

“Why should I?” Paisley asked rudely.

“What?”

“I really don’t care about you anymore Melanie, stay away from me. And tell your Mom to stop disturbing me with calls, I really don’t wanna be rude to her” Paisley wrenched her hand away.

She stared at Melanie’s dressing and chuckled.

“Looks like the good girl is suddenly changing to a bad one, all because of Axel?” She scoffed.

“It’s not gonna last, trust me. I don’t know what’s going on between you, but I can assure you that it’s not gonna last. Why? Because Axel and Ace are friends. Who knows, he might even go after her,” Paisley gestured towards Julie.

“And… Stay away from me..” Paisley glared and left Melanie who was busy staring into space.

“What did you talk about with her?” Julie asked as she joined Melanie.

“She…. She’s not the Paisley I know, she…” Melanie bit her lips.

“I told you to forget about her, didn’t I? We’re here for you” Lauren added, wrapping her hands on Melanie’s shoulder.

Melanie suddenly received a beep from her phone. It was a message from Ace.

? I WON’T GIVE UP ON YOU, MELANIE. NOT EVEN ONCE, CAN WE MEET UP AFTER YOUR CLASS IS OVER? ? The message reads.

“Who’s that?” Lauren asked.

Melanie showed her the message.

“He’s not giving up, is he?” Lauren scoffed.

“So, are you planning on going back to him?” Julie asked.

“What kind of question is that? If you’re the one, are you gonna go back to him?” Lauren asked.

“It was just a question,” Julie mumbled.

“I’m not going back to Ace again, I learned my lesson the hard way. What gives me the assurance that he isn’t gonna do worse than that if I go back to him?”

“Besides, I’m over him. It wasn’t easy, but I did” Melanie muttered.

“Fine, I didn’t mean to hurt you with my question. I just…”

“I’d like to be alone,,” Melanie said. She turned and left.

“You shouldn’t have asked that question, now I don’t think she’s feeling good,” Lauren muttered.

“I didn’t mean to,” Julie said.

“Let’s just give her a little space,” Lauren said.

Axel was walking with Aaron and Aiden when he saw Melanie, she was passing by and it was obvious that she didn’t see them.

“Wow, isn’t that Melanie?” Aaron whistled.

“Ace really messed up big time,” Aiden shook his head, still staring at Melanie.

“Damn, she’s so beautiful. I’d never hurt her if she was my girlfriend, Ace is truly a fool” Aaron muttered.

“You two should go ahead, I need to do something” Axel said.

“Huh?” He was already out of sight and Aaron sighed.

“Really don’t understand him anymore,” he mumbled.

“You can never understand Axel,” Aiden chuckled.

Aaron was about to take a move when he saw himself being swept off his feet just by seeing her innocent and cute face.

“Fk, who’s she?” He mumbled still staring till she finally walked away.

“My heart….” He touched his chest before facing Aiden who was staring at him.

“Did it just beat for a lady??” He mumbled in shock.
