CHAPTER 99
Lauren and Paisley both exchanged glances after Melanie was done narrating the incident to them.
“Do you know I feel like smacking your head right now?” Lauren asked.
“How could you do that to him? That guy had done nothing but to love you, why would you stay away all because of that foolish Ace??!” She suddenly yelled.
“Or, have you forgotten? I’ll gladly remind you then,”
“This so-called Ex betrayed you, he didn’t even think twice before performing an ungodly act with your friend? Did he think about your feelings then? Did he?”
“Fk Lanie, you keep disappointing me as days pass by, learn to stop being soft!”
“You shouldn’t be doing this right now,” Paisley suddenly spoke up.
“Annie is going through a lot right now and you saying those words is hurting her the most. You should stop” she muttered.
“I don’t just want them to become enemies all because of me, I don’t. They’ve been friends and I have to destroy that?” Melanie cried gently.
Paisley sat beside her and held her arm gently.
“As much as I’m surprised after hearing your confession, I really think you shouldn’t have done that.
You love him, right? And he loves you too. Leaving at this point in time is surely not the best thing, but I can assure you that everything will be fine,”
“First time I’ve ever heard something reasonable from her,” Lauren scoffed whilst smiling secretly.
Melanie was forced to laugh, she rested her head on Paisley’s shoulder, wrapping her arms around her back.
“Thank you, Pais,” she whispered.
Lauren frowned and quickly went to join them, she hugged Melanie too.
“You can’t leave me out of the picture too,” she muttered.
Paisley laughed.

THREE DAYS LATER***
The news about the broken friendship between the A4 was all around the school, especially when Ace made it so obvious.
Ace and Aiden were most seen walking around together while Aaron was always alone. Axel was seldom seen in the school.
? It’s Axel, gosh!
? Look at that perfect jaw,
? Is he a thing with Sierra now?
The students’ eyes were glued to their phone and they entered the school premises.
Melanie stared at the picture on her phone and her heart pricked with jealousy instantly.
Axel and Sierra were both shooting together, their lips almost touching.
If she hadn’t looked closer, she’d have thought they kssed each other there.
Worst still, Axel had a flirty smile on his face and Sierra putting on a bchy smile.
Melanie bit her lips hardly before letting her phone down. It’s been three days since she last set her eyes on him, it was as though he disappeared from the surface of the earth.
Now, she regret ever asking him to stay away from her, because she never stopped missing him for once.
“Hey,” Julie pats her arm from behind.
“Hi,” Melanie smiled briefly.
Julie returned to school two days ago. According to her, she was ill and that was why she hadn’t been coming to school.
“Have you heard the latest news?” Julie asked as they both continued their journey.
“About what?” Melanie asked,half interested in what she was saying.
“Axel,” Julie muttered.
That piqued Melanie’s interest immediately, so she turned to her.
“What about him?” She asked.
“Well… He’s been signing with a lot of agencies and with the way things are, he might get more famous that this,”
“Gosh, I actually missed his presence here,” Julie sighed.
Melanie stared at her.
