HER HEARTLESS MONSTER : CHAPTER 31 – 40

He whispered in a dead tone…
“I’ll set you on fire”
His words seeped under Lorraine’s thick skin, leaving numerous goosebumps at their wake.
“Release me at least please! Vann can’t meet me like this and you know it! Damn it!!!!!!” She cried like a banshee again, and Slade stood straight, his eyes keen on her.
She’s fun to watch while she’s crying in insane pains like this, but at the same time, she’s disgusting.
She has always been disgusting, to him.
“Nope. Letting Vann meet you like this is the thrill of it, and it’d be better if it was Tamlin who walked in, don’t you think?” He said without batting a lid as he began walking backwards, out of the room with his right hand in his chinos pocket.
“No no you can’t do that to me! I was only trying to help!!! I’m the only one in this school who’s aware of your innocence in the 12am murders!
I know you’re not behind them which is why I’m sticking with you! It doesn’t have to end like this cos you’d regret it! I promise!!!” She cried again, her struggles against the chains getting worse.
The chains are starting to cut through her wrists.
“As much as I don’t like threats, I’d like to see where yours will lead to, Lorraine. Goodnight” he did a slight mocking wave with the tip of his right fingers before getting out of the room.
“Slade!!!!” Lorraine screamed again, trying to get her legs together and rub to create some soothing friction, but she couldn’t.
Water was gushing out of her nose too, and her ears are on fire… water is drooling out of her mouth too, even her ears.
“You’ll regret it…I promise you!!” She cried yelled out, then the door tore open, the Vann stormed in.
“Lorraine? Lorraine!” He rushed to her, his eyes wide as he pulled the blindfold away from her eyes.
“Vann!” She sniffled when their eyes met.
“What happened here?” He demanded instantly.
“I can’t talk I’m in pains!! Get the chains off my hands” she replied.
“Tell me what happened here first! Who chained you down? Who blindfolded you!” He snarled impatiently.
“Slade! He sneaked in okay? He tried to rape me but then I promised to scream and he poured something on me I dunno what it is but it’s not easy down there…I’m burning” she shook her head.
“Slade?” Lord Vann’s eyes widened, and she nodded.
“Please unchain me I need to take care of myself” she cried.
Vann scowled when he saw the small bottle in bed, and he slowly picked it up.
When he saw black pepper from hell written on it, he swallowed.
“Oh no, this is bad” he muttered.
“What do you mean?” Lorraine muttered.
“This won’t only affect you physically, but it’d also affect you internally. This specific pepper has the ability to close a woman’s womb. You can’t get pregnant ever again, Lorraine” Vann muttered, and her eyes widened in terror.
“What!”

WOODS*
Echo has been waiting for more than two hours, but she’s willing to wait more anyways.
If Ruslan is gonna come to her after everything, then she’d wait it out.
There’s a calm river in the woods, and she’s currently sitting at the riverbank with so many stones in hand which she’s throwing inside every second.
She’s checking time on her wristwatch everytime, but that only got her impatient, so she stopped it.
She threw another stone in the river and rubbed her bare arms cos of the cold that’s starting to eat her out.
The night breeze became colder and eerie, and her cold got worse, so she had no choice but leave the riverbank and hide under a tree.
She retrieved her phone and texted Ruslan one more time.
Echo: Won’t you be coming anymore? I’ve been waiting for hours.
She got a reply immediately.
Ruslan: Had to help Lady Lorraine arrange some files…I promise I’ll be there soon. I just have to see you tonight, else I won’t be able to sleep.
She smiled and pocketed her phone, hugging herself as she watched raindrops fall from the dark sky.
