MAX POV
Though it had been a long ride to the city I had with stand it all
After all I went to that town on my own, why did I even have to go there? I thought to myself
Why do I keep on tormenting my self over what happened there years back
Can’t I just try to move on,I thought as the taxi stopped in front of the mansion I lived in
This place has brought me nothing but pain,If only I had known,I would have never come to this house.
If only i had stayed in the orhanage,If only they hadn’t find us, He would still be here with me.
“Common Max, we have longed for our parents for years and now that they are in our life again, We should take the opportunity and live with them, After all they left us both to make it and they did succeed,Let’s not hold any grudge on them and let’s try to make things right,I would like to live in luxury for once”
And luxury he had lived in until he lost his self control over what he could get with money.
I walked into the house and I saw My mom sitting by the couch,Waiting for me to arrive
“Where have you been and why didn’t you go to school today” She queried me
“No reason “I replied
“Max! Don’t make me furious,Don’t you know how much we spend on your schooling,You have been skipping school for a week now”
“To heck with school,If it were up to me,I wouldn’t be in this house”I yelled at her angrily
“Are you still angry about what happened with Your brother? You should know that it isn’t our fault,We were only ……..”
“Save your excuse,Am sick of hearing it,You keep on saying the same thing over and over again,I don’t wish to talk about it”I said
“Maximilian,You should know that I love you, I love you and your brother”
“What a great way of showing it” I said with venom and then I went up the stairs.

ONE WEEK LATER
ANDREA POV
We got out of the bus that brought us to the city
Have always wanted to see how the city look,Ever since I was born,Have never left the town that I grew up in but as luck would have it, we are here and I hope that every thing goes well for me and my mom , I thought as we began to search for the new address where my mom will be working.
Luckily for her a friend of hers had connected her to a rich family,They were in need of workers and am sure that mom will be accepted
We got to the mansion where my mom was suppose to live and work in.
The security guard let us in and I was shocked at first by the beauty of the house, It’s even much more beautiful than the one we lived in at the town
“Mom it’s so huge and pretty”I whispered to her and she gave me a smile in return telling me that she acknowledge that statement
Just then a lady came to meet us and she introduced herself as a the butler and head of all the workers in the mansion
The first impression I had about Butler rose is that she was in her late fifties and that she is some one who gets angry and doesn’t tolerate incompetence,I thought
She toured us around the house making it known to us that the people who owns it rarely lives in it except for their son who hates it when any worker go into his room or his late brothers room with out permission.
Listening to all this have made me aware that no matter what,I have to avoid this particular person.
I wouldn’t like to be the cause of my mother dismissal,So no matter what happens,I will always avoid him,Even with out knowing who he is.
After the tour of the house,She took us to our room
It isn’t that big but it’s very spacious and much more accommodating .
“I like this place better mom”I said as I unpacked our clothes
“I do too but am worried about the son of our employers”She said
“But why?”
“I might just do some thing that I shouldn’t have and I might be………”
“Don’t think about it mom, when ever you see him just ignore him,That’s what have decided to do”She said
“I think your strategy is good,I will also be avoiding him “She replied and I gave her a smile.
While my mom busied her self in the kitchen,I took a tour around the garden, Making sure that I don’t run into any one.
The garden was a quiet and beautiful place to be at.
I took off my sandals and walked bare foot In the grass
I was enjoying having my solitude when I heard a voice
I stopped what I was doing and I went to see who was there
As I moved I kept on hearing the voice and it seemed like the person there was crying
I made it to where the voice was coming from and gently I peeped only to see a guy sitting on the grass,he had his back to me and he was crying holding a picture.
He must think that he is alone,I thought as I kept on starring at him
Quickly I left the garden before any one caught me.
I was heading back into the house when A fellow maid walked towards me holding a tray
“Please can you take it up to the room by the left,I need to get some thing”She said as she ran off
I stood starring at the tray? Where do I know in this big mansion,I thought as I went in search of the room
“It must be the room by the right or is it by the left,I just don’t remember”I whispered to myself as I decided to go with the room by 5
The right.
I knocked and when there was no response,I went in,The room was empty and so I dropped the tray on the table, Knowing that the owner would come get it .
I was about to leave when I saw a picture on the table,It was a picture I had never seen before but some how I felt that have seen it before,Especially this gaze,I thought as I kept on staring at it
“What the he.ll are you don’t in here!”A voice which I had heard before said behind me
I turned a bit only to see that it was the guy from the roof top,I faced the wall again,Wondering what I should do to prevent him from seeing my face.
