HIS TRICKY CAPTIVE : CHAPTER 101 – 110
PALACE FIELD
“You’re getting more stupid”. The Emperor sighed for the upteethm time as he watch Jade mess up the bow and arrow he set for her, before she could even shoot it.
“Tomorrow’s contest is hunting but if you can’t position a bow and arrow how then will you be able to kill an animal?!”.
The Emperor questioned sternly as he snatched the bow and arrow from Jade who bit her lower lip as she watched him reset it for her.
It was very late, with the big moon up and she looked very beautiful with her hair parked up and putting on her blue trainees uniform.
The Emperor himself was dressed more like a guard than the king he was, only his mask distincted him.
“I’ll try it again–
“Of course you will. Take it”. The Emperor cut her off placing the heavy bow and arrow in her hand and she almost fell, backwards to the ground cause of it, but his strong hands at her back sent her back to her feet to meet his glare.
“I think the–bow and arrow are not my size that’s why”. Jade muttered in her defense.
“You don’t get to decide that. Now face your target”. The Emperor said and Jade faced the field, her targeted loacted at the field was a huge painting of a bull’s head.
“Raise up your Weapon?”. The Emperor instructed going to stand behind her and Jade instantly did as her hand began shaking making the Emperor’s gaze to darken.
“Part your leg”. He instructed again and Jade did as told but when she opened it too wide, the Emperor moved closer bending beside her he shifted her right leg so as to cover a little space of the gap between her legs.
“Your left leg forward and your right leg behind. Do that and don’t mess up the space between them”. The Emperor said and Jade nodded taking her left leg forward and still maintaining the space.
“Good. Now keep your eyes on the target”. The Emperor said and Jade sighed nervously as she narrowed her gaze to the bull’s head painting.
“At the count of three shoot, you hear me?”. The Emperor asked.
“Yes”. Jade replied her hand shaking from holding the bow and arrow for too long and the Emperor seeing that, supported her with his own hand so she would be able to shoot properly.
“One-two—
The Emperor wasn’t done when Jade shot the target and he faced her sharply.
“You can’t count also? I said at the count of three not two?!”. He scolded and Jade flinched in fear.
“I thought two was three?….
“What?!”. The Emperor exclaimed with widened eyes.
“I gave you alot of books to study! Stayed up all night to teach you more than 50 characters and numbers and you dare tell me you can’t differentiate between two and three?”. The Emperor questioned angrily moving closer to her and she shifted backward.
“I’ll try better next time”. Jade said moving more backwards.
“Next time? You think there’ll be a next time? Come here”. The Emperor ordered seeing Jade was now slowly taking to her heels.
“I promise to study better”. Jade replied slowly running away after dropping the bow and arrow on the ground.
“I told you to come here right now!”. The Emperor said going after her and she seriously took to her heels this time around.
“I was always hungry while studying that’s why by the time I’m done eating time must have gone and i end up sleeping off!!!”. Jade yelled as the Emperor pursured her round the field.
“That’s the only thing you understand!! Food and nothing else!!”. The Emperor growled activating his superspeed to catch her this time and Jade immediately began adding to her pace also even when she knew it was impossible to outrun him, but suddenly her superspeed activated also and she found herself even faster than the wind, shocking the Emperor who stopped to watch her.
“Wow! I’m fast now! I think I’m Shenghai’s lost daughter! Leg take me to the east part of this field!!”. Jade said and immediately she met herself at the east side of the wing and she smiled widely when she stopped and checked her heartbeat.
“I can’t believe this! I’m not even panting!”. Jade screamed dancing funnily on jumping at the same time and the Emperor scoffed watching her from where he stood, her eyes met with his and she smiled widely.
Then an idea crept into her head and she bent muttering something her legs.
And immediately her legs became hyperactive again taking her to where the Emperor stood, almost running into him, she shifted down his mask and placed a kiss on his lips, making him stand rooted to the ground in shock.
Then Jade’s legs began taking her out of the field towards the main palace and he regained his consciousness back.
“Where do you think you’re going to?!!”. Emperor Damien yelled after Jade.
“I think I’m going to the kitchen!!”. Jade replied excitedly as her legs took her there making the Emperor run his hands through his hair as he sighed deeply, looking round the field.
Then his eyes suddenly went to the target she shot and blinked seeing that she actually hit bullseyes.
