“We’re here!!!”. Mistress Soni shouted happily as she ran into her brother’s medium sized house. It wasn’t as huge as their mansion back in the tenth province but it also wasn’t too small like the hut they resided in the forbidden forest.
Then a chubby short man, dressed in not so expensive clothings ran out of the house to hug his sister.
“My only little sis! I’ve missed you so much!!”. The chubby man said as he hugged Mistress Soni tightly and Mistress Soni smiled as she hugged him back.
“I brought my daughter along also! Take her as your daughter now since you’re childless!”. Mistress Soni said bluntly as she broke the hug and her brother only grinned awkwardly.
Bae also went to hug her uncle and he smiled hugging her back.
“I missed you uncle. But now that I’m here i promise you’ll never get bored, as the new and only child of this house, I’ll do all it takes to make you happy uncle then in return you’ll just get me the good things of life and also make sure I marry a very wealthy noble”. Bae said as she broke the hug and Mistress Soni smiled nodding in agreement.
“If he does that for a mere stranger then what will he use to train our unborn baby”. Dara the wife to Bae’s uncle said as she walked out of the house to stand next to her husband.
Mistress Soni’s eyes widened when she saw that Dara was heavily pregnant.
“Our baby came late but atleat it came anyway”. Mistress Soni’s brother said and Dara smiled nodding.
“And you called us strangers? Why?!”. Bae snapped at Dara who moved closer and slapped her hard across the face.
“I might look young but I’m not! I’m even way older than your mother so don’t you dare raise your voice at me!”. Dara said and Bae glanced at her mother who glanced at her brother.
“You brought us here to get insulted by your stupid wife!—-
“Brought? You were the one who wanted to come here! I remember how you neglected both i and mother the moment you got picked up from poverty by that evil minister! Mother died of starvation and i hustled on my own to get to where i was now! A night watch man Soni! I thought you hated my job and mocked my monthly payment?!
What happened now? You want me to use the same monthly payment you mocked to fend for your daughter?! Why?!”. Mistress Soni’s brother said and both Bae and Mistress Soni’s eyes widened.
“If you still had all these in mind, then why did you invite us to come live with you?!”. Mistress Soni snapped loudly.
“I invited you because—-
“I needed helpers. I’m heavily pregnant and can’t complete the house chores myself, I also can’t tend to our lamb in this state, it’s our first child and I can’t stress myself, so if you feel irritated and can’t stay to serve us, just go back to the kingdom where you’re not needed anymore”. Dara said and Mistress Soni gasped loudly in shock before facing her brother.
“Servant? You want your own sister to serve your pregnant wife?!”. Mistress Soni questioned unbelievably.
“You can’t?! Then just leave Soni of what use will you be to me anyways!”. Her brother snapped and made to go in with his wife but Mistress Soni fell to the ground holding his legs.
“Just let us live you both and I promise i and my Bae will serve you both. Please”. Mistress Soni pleaded and Dara smiled at them.
“We have no guest rooms, but once you empty our store I’m sure that will be a better room for the both of you”. Dara said before walking in with her husband.
“Serve who?! Mother! Let’s just find somewhere else to stay, i can’t become a servant to that rude lady!!”. Bae shouted stomping her feet to the ground but her mother ignored her as she sighed deeply on the ground.
