FLASH BACK

(TEN YEARS AGO )

I stood in the kitchen starring at the blood in my hand while Denise Kept on yelling for help for Cade who was lying on the floor all bloody

I just $tabbed some one, I thought as I watched people coming in to take Cade away.

Feeling scared,I ran out of the mansion and into the little hut at the back of the house.

I stayed there, locking myself in the house, I felt so alone, the only person I can count on is now dead.

I have no one but myself to help myself, I just $tabbed Cade and am sure that his parents won’t make things easy for me, they will surely want to make my life a living hell if Cade turns out to die.

I can’t stay here! I can’t stay here and let them come for me, I thought as I began to pack up, wanting to leave but then I stopped.

Where would I go to? I don’t have any money with me and am still a minor and an orphan at that too.

No one is here for me! I thought as I crouched on the floor crying.

I cried until I fell asleep, it was late in the evening when I heard some men Voices

Immediately i stood up and saw that they were trying to get into the house.

I hid by one of the cabinet, hoping they will not find me.

But they did, after opening the door, they walked me in to the house and after searching every where some one saw me and pulled me out of the house.

“We found her ma’am”they said as they held me towards Denise

“Good!”

“Let me go! Let me go!”I yelled trying to pull myself free but Instead I was rewarded with a slap.

“My son is now in the hospital fighting for his life and it’s all your fault, you will pay dearly for this, I can assure you of that!”She said starring at me

“Take her to the place I told you of, under no circumstance should any one see you, I don’t any one to know that she is there”She said to the guards who pulled me to the car and drove off

We drove for a while and then the car stopped.

They took to an old deserted house and locked me in it.

It was quite livable if the person in it could do some cleaning but I was too scared to do a thing.

Why has Denise brought me here, is this her way of telling me that she will kill me? I thought as I stared at the house.

“I need you mom! I need you so much”I muttered as I stared at the place feeling so scared.

It was a week later that I Denise came to see me.

I had been starved but I always given some thing to drink.

I haven’t been able to have a bathe for a week and that’s because there is no water.

There was hardly a bed in the room and I hardly could find a piece of clothing to change into but luckily for me I found an old blanket which I use in covering myself when it gets cold at night.

The guards had come to me pulling me out of the house.

They pulled me out side and knelt me in front of Denise

“Move her back! She smells”Denise said as she covered her nose.

“Have you been enjoying your holiday?”she asked as she stared at me

“It sounds more like hell”I said softly

“Am so glad you know that this place is your hell, I thought that by starving you for a week, you would have been dead by now but instead you persevered, maybe giving you water did the trick, you two should stop giving her water…….”

“Would you please just stop this! I can’t take any more”I said feeling so very weak.

“Why! Why must I listen to you when you cost me my son life!”she yelled at me

“But I didn’t mean to…..I didn’t……..”quickly I got up and ran ahead to puke out what has been in me.

“What the hell is wrong with her?”I heard Denise asking

“I think it’s serious, she has been vomitting a lot and there are times that she will be unconscious, we have had to pour water in her some times just to wake her up, I think we should call some one to check on her, after all you don’t want her dead right?”I heard one of the guard say

“I don’t want her dead yet, I still want to punish her for what she has done to my son but I can’t bring in a doctor from the town, they will certainly want to know why have bright this fool here”she said

“I know who to get for you then, she is a nurse and a very discreet one at that, she will be willing to do as you say , as long as you can pay her…… ” the guard said

“I will give her what ever she wants, as long as she can tell me what is wrong with her and if she can be discreet too”Denise said

“Fine then, I will contact her”he said

“As for the main time, give her some thing to eat as have said, I don’t want her to die, not yet”she said.

For two days, I was given food and a nice bed has been brought into the house for my use.

I was living a comfortable life until the nurse, who was introduced to me as Lucy came to give out the news that I was pregnant.

“Pregnant?”I asked starring at Denise who had an angry look on her face.

“Yes you are pregnant my child”Lucy said giving me a motherly look .

“Don’t tell me that it belongs to….. to…..”

“Yes, it belongs to Cade, Cade is the only guy have ever slept with in my life”i said starring at her

“This is crazy, my son can’t be the father of that thing in you!”she yelled at me.

“I was a vrgin when Cade rapped me, he took my vrgnity and he is the only guy that have ever slept with me, this child in Me belongs to your son!”I yelled at him

“No! It doesn’t, it doesn’t belong to my son, you stupid brat! She said wanting to hit me but Lucy protected me instead.

“The deed has been done, what we should do now is to think of that child in her, it shouldn’t be blamed for what happened”Lucy said defending me

“Mind your own business you stupid nurse, do you want to be killed, I can have you killed and buried here right here ,right now”she said

“You don’t have to do that because I myself quit and I will be taking this child away from here, she is just a minor and she is pregnant with your son child, what you are meant to do is to protect the child not to do her harm,Come with me my dear”she said as she pulled me up

She began to walk towards the door with me when Denise called for her guards.

They stood in front of us obstructing our path.

“You take one more step and your brother who is with me will die”she said

“What! I thought my brother is one of the guard working for you!”Lucy yelled out

“Yes he is! he is one of the guard and now he will be harmed if you dare leave this place with that girl”she said to Lucy who looked frightened

“Now tell me what do we have to do to that child! I need answers from you as soon as possible” she said starring at Lucy who gave me a sorry look.

PRESENT TIME

I opened my eyes only to find myself in an unknown room, where am I and how did I get here? I thought as I stared around me.

I felt some one holding my hand on the bed and I turned only to see Cade by my bed side, sleeping so soundly and holding my hand tight.

He looks like an angel when he is asleep, I thought as I gently pushed back his fallen hair.

That woke him up, he opened his eyes and when he saw that I was awake, he stood up

“My love!”he said starring at me

“Are you okay now? Do you want me to get you some thing or better yet, I should call the doctor ?”he asked

“You…….”I wasn’t able to finish my word because he was already leaving the room to call for the doctor.

Soon the doctor came in and check on me and when he confirmed to Cade that I was doing okay, he left us alone.
