CADE POV
It took us a while before we got to the place where Emily was.
Though the tracking device is now reading that she is some where else.
Could David have taken her, I thought as the police went into the house to check for any one but they came out empty handed
“You see I told you! We should have just follow the new location , they aren’t here any more, he has taken her some where else!”I said hitting the car in anger
“I think we should head to where they are”one of the police officers said
“While you were searching, you found his clothes right?”the detective asked
“Yes we did, it’s still inside the house!”One of the cops answered
“They haven’t left yet, they will be back!”The detective said starring at me
“But when and why are you so sure that they will be come back?”I asked
“Think about it, If he was going to leave, he would have taken his clothes and other stuff with him but he didn’t and so maybe he went out to get some thing with her but am sure that he would be back soon, he just can’t leave like that”
“But still some of you should go after them, may be you might get him before he returns”he said and quickly they picked out some men and then they left the house.
As soon as they left two officers walked out of the house.
One was holding Emily shawl and the other was holding a phone
“That’s Emily’s “I said taking the shawl from the cop
“Does she own this cell phone too?”the detective asked
“No, it doesn’t belong to her”I said
“Then it must be David, he even have a voice message”The detective said playing the message
“You fool hurry up and get out of there! Cade and the police are coming, they manage to get a tracking device and it’s all thanks to Emily, she has a watch on her hand, destroy that watch and leave with her as soon as possible, if the police gets to find you then I will be ruined too, after all I helped you kidnap Emily, get out of that place David”
“This clearly tells us that some one help him in kidnapping Emily but the caller doesn’t have a name, he didn’t put her name on his contact list but he had been calling her a lot of times, David is not the only enemy you have got sir,if this lady could help him do some thing like that , she is also a threat to you ”
“Do you have an idea of who it might be?”The detective asked
“No, I don’t”I replied softly
“Fine then, we will look deep into it “He said giving the phone to the cops as evidence.
“Sir! I think they are headed this way,my girl friend just called to tell me that the location have changed”the guard who owned the watch said as he came to us.
“Fine then, some of you should stay out side, make you are not seen and then the rest follow me into the house, what ever it takes, we must save Mr Callaghan wife “he said and immediately they took their position.
During the time we were waiting, I kept on hoping that Emily will be fine and when I heard the sound of a car, I almost wanted to ruin the whole plan.
Once I get David, he will be sorry that he took my wife, I thought as we all waited for them to come in.
As soon as he walked in and turn on the light,I was so relieved to see Emily in his arms.
Though a little blood was trickling down from the side of her mouth she was okay, seeing her smile again made me think that every hour have spent in looking for her is all worth it.
“You have been surrounded, put down the hostage and surrender “the detective said as they all point a gun at him
“Put me down David, it doesn’t have to get this far”She said to David who held her tightly
“I won’t let you go, I just can’t let you go”he said and I felt like punching his eyes out
“I will say it again, put down the hostage and surrender ”
“David put me down! Please”Emily seem to be coercing him, I would like to see him dead but not like this, I want to be the one to kill him my self, I thought.
Gently he put Emily down only for him to pull her back to him pointing a knife to her throat
“Let her go David!”I yelled at him
” No I won’t! Have always had to let go for you and now that I want some thing more than any thing in the word, you are denying it from me”David yelled at me
“I won’t deny you any thing again , just please, please let her go “I begged
“David! If you don’t want to die, let her go right now!”the detective said
“I won’t! I will rather kill her and my self than to live with out her?”he said
“David,I beg you, please stop this!” Emily begged again
Unknown to David, the cops who had been hiding out side gently walked in behind him and from the silent go ahead given to them by their leader, they took hold of David hand and quickly Emily ran towards me, hugging me tight.
“You are safe now my love! You are safe”I said as I held her tight in my arms.

EMILY POV
I sat in the ambulance with Cade beside me , David was being brought out of the house.
“Is that all he did ?”the officer questioning me asked and I nodded gently
“Fine then, we will send in your statement “He said and left Cade and I alone
“Now that you are finally back in my arms, I can breathe peacefully”He said
“You have no idea how scared I was”I said as I held him close
“I was scared too, I thought, I wont ever see you again”he said
“Just hold me okay,all I need to know is that you are here with me”He said as he held me close.
“Mr Callaghan, you have to come jwith us, we need to put down your statement too”one of the cops said
“Fine then, will you be fine on your own or if you want, I can stay with you and…….”
‘”just go and put down your statement, I will be fine and besides the paramedic is here with me, so just do what you will do and come back”I said and he gave me a kss before walking off.
I was still starring at him when I looked side ways to see David starring at me.
He was being held by the police men and he had an angry look on his face.
Feeling a bit scared, I looked at Cade who was talking to the police men and as if he knew that I was looking at him, he turned and gave me a smile, a smile which I returned and then I stared at David again, I don’t know why some thing keeps pulling me to watch him.
I saw him starring at Cade and I began to feel scared.
“Ma’am we are still checking on you? “The paramedic said but I wasn’t listening to her.
“Hey what are you doing?”A police man yelled and I turned out to see David pulling out the police man gun pointing it at Cade.
I found my self running towards Cade and when I got to him, I heard the gun shot
Every where was quiet for a while and then I heard David voice and also the police.
I stared at Cade to see that he was okay and that got me feeling relieved
“Are you okay?”Cade asked as he stared at me and I nodded softly
“Am fine”I replied
“She is bleeding!”some one yelled from the back ground and i turned to see who they were referring to but I saw no one .
“Emily, you are bleeding!”Cade said and I looked down only to see my gown wet with my blood
“Cade!”I called and fell into his arms
“Stay awake my love!”he said as he held me tight
But I knew that I couldn’t hold on, the urge to fall asleep is just too much to resist
I stared at Cade and gave him
