Kristin nodded and left the house. Heading to the garage, she took one of the cars and drove to Luke’s house. She knew how to drive because, back home, she used to take her dad’s crops to the market to sell.
When Kristin arrived at Luke’s house, she found Cecelia outside.
“What are you doing here?” Kristin asked as she approached her.
“Where’s my husband? I stepped out so he could clear his head, and now I can’t find him. Where is he?” Cecelia demanded.
Kristin scoffed and shot her a deadly glare. “You have no right to call him your husband, not after what you did to him.
How can you still call him your husband when you cheated on him without even blinking?” Kristin tried to enter the house, but Cecelia grabbed her arm.
“You were the one who told him, weren’t you? There’s no way Luke would’ve known if you hadn’t snitched on me! You ruined my marriage!”
“You’re the one who ruined your marriage with Luke, Cecelia! He loved you, and you repaid him by being unfaithful. Just know, I’d be happy to go to court with Luke so he can divorce you!”
“You bitch!” Cecelia yelled, attempting to slap Kristin, but Kristin caught her hand before it could land.
“Don’t even think about it, Cecelia! I’m holding back my anger, so you’d better respect yourself, or I’ll dig a hole and plant you in it like a seed!” Kristin warned.
“I swear, you’ll pay for this!”
“Don’t blame anyone else for what happened. In your search for silver, you lost a diamond!”
“My marriage with Luke isn’t over yet. He loves me, and he’ll forgive me.”
“Keep dreaming because it’s not going to happen. I’ll make sure of that. A woman like you doesn’t deserve a good man like Luke.”
“Where is Luke?”
“He’s at my husband’s house. I bet you won’t even dare set foot there. You know what Richard is capable of. I dare you to go to Richard’s house and see what happens.”
Cecelia clenched her fists in anger. She knew she couldn’t step foot in Richard’s house, especially now that the whole of Vegas knew she was a cheating wife. Richard would kill her for sure, and the fear of him stopped her from even considering it.
“I bet you can’t, right? I can see your suitcases outside already. You should start looking for a place to live, or maybe go to your cheating partner. I wonder if he’ll take you in, since he’s a married man,” Kristin smirked at Cecelia.
She gathered what Luke needed and drove away from the house. Cecelia stood there, fists clenched so tightly her knuckles turned white.
“I swear on my parents’ grave, I am going to make you pay for ruining my marriage, Kristin Santiago!”

Lewis got home after receiving treatment at the hospital, but he was blocked from entering the house by two bodyguards.
“Let me through. Why are you preventing me from entering my own house?” Lewis demanded.
“I’m sorry, Lewis, but you have no access to this house,” one of the bodyguards said.
“Lewis? How dare you call me by name? Since when did this start?” Lewis asked, growing angry.
“From today onward, you’re no longer welcome in this house,” Natalie’s voice came from inside. The bodyguards moved aside, and she wheeled her wheelchair towards Lewis.
“What’s all this nonsense, Nat?”
“It’s Natalie! You have lost all the right to call me ‘Nat,’ and you’re no longer welcome here.”
“You can’t do that, Nat!”
“Why not, Lewis? My late parents gifted us this mansion when we got married, so it solely belongs to me.
And the company that put tons of money in your pocket? I’m taking that back too,” Natalie said, her eyes betraying no emotion.
