INTO THE DEPTHS OF LOVE : CHAPTER 21 – 30
Luke did as he was instructed, and in no time he was already in skyline company.
Julio couldn’t believe it when Richard disclosed to him that it was his own wife who spread the rumors about him being gay to the public.
“What did you do to her?” Julio asked. He was scared of what Richard might have done. He needs no one to tell him what Richard is capable of doing.
“I’m so holding back because of you dad, but you know my patience has some limits”
“I’m sorry” Julio apologized on Ophelia’s behalf.
“I understand she hates me because she feels like I replaced your long lost daughter in your heart, but she should know when to stop dad”
“You didn’t replace anyone, Richard. You worked so hard for everything you have now, and I am proud of you. I just hope one day, you’d open up to me and tell me everything that happened to you before I adopted you”
“How’s the search for your daughter?” Richard asked, changing the topic on purpose.
Julio got the message and smiled.
“I’ve lost all hopes in finding her. She got lost twenty years ago, and I don’t think I would ever find her”
Richard didn’t say anything after that. He is not much of a talker.
“How is my daughter in law doing?” Julio inquired.
“She is fine,” Richard replied simply.
“Now that you’re married to Kristin, does that mean your hatred for women is slowly leaving you?”
“My hotel is hosting an annual event this weekend, you should be there”
“Why do you always like to change the topic anytime I ask a question. Loosening up a little won’t do you any harm” Julio murmured.
Richard kept mute.
Julio got up on his feet and pats Richard’s shoulder.
“I didn’t pester you about your life, cuz I didn’t want to impose, but sometimes, the pains alleviates when it’s half shared”
“I’m not yet ready to open up to anyone. Opening up will remind me of my helpless self years ago and I don’t want to dive into it”
“It’s fine, at least you have Kristin. She is a nice woman”
Richard peered at Julio.

In Lewis’s office, Luke is seen talking to Cecelia, about the false information she got from Luke about Kristin.
“Wait a minute, there’s no way Luke would lie to me” Cecelia stood to her ground, cuz Luke has never lied to her before.
He always comes clean with her.
“It turns out that he did this time. I had my doubts when my men didn’t get an information about Kristin in Mexico, but it turns out it was Luke who gave you a false information about Kristin”
“It still unbelievable, but I’m going to ask him again”
“Don’t think about doing that! If you try to force the truth out of him, I’m sure he is going to figure out your intentions. He is not daft!”
“What should I do then?” Cecelia asked.
She is determined to help Lewis find out more about Kristin, because it brings more money to the table for her, aside from being a plaything to Lewis.
“Befriend her”
“What? You want me to be her friend?”
“Yes. If you befriend Kristin, I’m sure she’d reveal herself to you. If you’re able to do that, then you’d get a huge reward for that”
Cecelia’s lost her sense of reasoning at the thought of money.
“I will do my absolute best to befriend her,” Cecelia smiled, trying to kiss her, but Lewis resisted.
“I’m not in the mood for sex, leave” He commanded her.
Cecelia took her bag, and left.
Just after she left, his manager stepped in.
“I have news for you,” The blue- haired man said.
“Which is?”
“The annual Film & Television Awards will be hosted at Glamour Empire Hotel this weekend,” The blue haired man handed the invitation card to him.
Lewis read through the lines and smirked.
“Cole”
“Yes, sir”
“Forget about Kristin for now, cuz through this event, we are going to destroy Richard and his hotel for good. His hotel is going to lose face” Lewis smirked, devilishly.
