INTO THE DEPTHS OF LOVE : CHAPTER 31 – 40
Luke has been waiting for Richard to come to the company, but there was no sign of him reporting at the hotel.
When he waited for an hour, and he hadn’t yet arrived, he called him.
“Hello, Richard”
“Hey” His voice said.
“Is everything okay?” Luke asked.
“Yes”
“It’s surprising you aren’t at the hotel, or perhaps are you in your other properties?”
“No, I am not. I won’t be coming to work today, you’re in charge of what goes in and goes out today”
“Is everything okay?” Luke asked, getting worried. No doubt he takes Richard as an order brother.
He is two years younger than Richard.
“Yes I am fine, you don’t have to worry about me. Whatever happens today, just alert me”
“Some reporters from TTC broadcasting company are here to talk to Kristin”
“Send them away, Luke. I won’t involve Kristin in the spotlight. Just tell them, she was able to detect it was taro leaf and nothing more”
“Fine, I will do as you have said, but are you sure you are okay? This will be the first time you’re having a day off and it bothers me”
“I’m fine, I have to go” Richard hung up.
“I hope he is okay” Luke puffed out some air from his mouth.

Kristin dragged Richard into a store where hats are being sold, and he followed her without hesitation.
He took a day off from work because Kristin volunteered to teach him the basics of farming today.
They were both wearing simple clothes, but Richard was still looking astonishing in his shorts and chiffon shirt.
The first three buttons of his chiffon shirt were open, giving him a manly handsome look.
“What do we need hats for firefly?” He asked.
Kristin held on to his shirt, urging him to lower down to her height, cuz she wanted to whisper something to him.
Richard sighed and lowered to her height.
“These are expensive hats compared to the ones I use in Glenwood, but you need it it” She whispers to him.
“What for?” He whispers back.
“You want to learn a little farming, right? You need it to protect your face from the sun” She whispers again.
Richard nodded.
“We will take two hats” She smiled at the seller.
The seller did as she was told, and she handed the hat to Kristin after Richard paid for it.
“Can you please lower your height a little?” Kristin said, as she struggles to wear the hat on Richard’s head.
“You expect to wear that here? When you start your lessons, I’ll wear them. I have high standards in Las Vegas. I can’t be seen walking around with a hat”
“Whatever” She put on her own hat and smiled at Richard.
“How do I look?” She asked, raising her two fingers like she was making a pose.
Richard didn’t reply to her and walked out of the store.
Kristin waved at the seller with a smile and went after Richard.
“Mr. Grouchy!” She chirps, catching up with him.
