*I smiled at the demarcation made with the pillows on the bed and removed it.
*Isla is beautiful but she is only with me because of my money and I know that .And that’s the reason she did not take the pills.After what Jade did to me ,do they think I will ever love again?
*Jade is Ava’s mum .She ran away after she stole my money,left a stupid note and left me with Ava,she came back months later married to my rival.
ISLA??
*I woke up late and Avery was gone and Ava went to school.I was bored at home .I had my bath and came out and was greeted by the maids.
“Ma’am food is ready,sir Avery said we should make sure you eat”A maid said.
“I’m not hungry”I replied
“Isla you will eat your food and not act like a spoilt brat”The cook said. She has never liked me.I don’t even know what’s her problem.
“You don’t tell me what to do”I replied and walked out .
“The car key”I saw and he gave it to me .
*I got on the wheels and left to meet my friend Camile.
????HOURS LATER????
AVERY KING?
*Where is this woman? I just got back and found out she left in the morning without having breakfast.If she don’t care for herself she should at least care for my baby.
“Daddy,is mummy not back yet”Ava said
*And just then Isla walked in .
“Where are you coming from Isla?”I asked
“Ava to your room”I said and Ava left.
“It’s non of your business Avery “She said and I noticed she was with shopping bags.
*I grabbed her by the arm.
“You are a married woman.What type of woman comes back home 9pm”I said
“Are we married?”She asked and I was dumbfounded. I let go off her arm and she walked out.I followed her to our room.
“Isla you will listen to me and do what I say”I yelled
“I hate you Avery. I regret ever getting married to you , I regret ever having something with you .I regret ever knowing you”She yelled back
*Without thinking I crashed my lips on hers.
ISLA ??
*We disengaged and I looked at him. You stared deep into his eyes.
“Go to bed Isla “He said and went to the bathroom.
*I quickly changed to my night gown and slept on the right side of the bed .He came out minutes later and laid on the left side of the bed .We faced each other. I went close to him and laid my head on his chest . Avery sighed and wrapped his hand around me .
*Why can’t he just love me?
