Bethel’s Pov:
I felt my heart pounding.
Ryan…I was scared of that anger of his. He might do something crazy.
“I asked a question” he said coldly as he left the door and started walking in to the kitchen.
“You don’t have to rant, okay? I didn’t eat her”, Royce jibed and tried walking out, but Ryan punched him in the face immediately.
“You animal!” He snarled and hit him again.
Oh, God!
It created a cut on his lips and he used his finger to touch the blood.
“Urgh!” He groaned and also punched Ryan.
No!
“Ryan!” I cried and tried going to meet them, but was startled when Ryan punched him again.
He held him by the collars and gave him another punch, making him bleed more.
“Ryan, stop it!” I pleaded in fright but couldn’t even touch him.
Royce tried hitting him, but he kicked him hard on the knee and pushed him to the floor.
“Ryan, please that’s enough” I cried and held his hand.
“Let me go, Bethel!” He snarled and pushed me, but luckily, I didn’t fall.
Oh, God!
Royce was still on the floor, coughing.
“You have the nerves to touch her? Huh?” Ryan rasped as he knelt on the floor beside him and punched him again.
No; this is too much.
“Help! Help, please!” I cried out.
I was scared something crazy might happen to Royce.
He tried to hit Ryan, but missed and Ryan stood up and grabbed the kitchen knife from the table.
“No!!” I screamed and ran to hold him immediately.
I held him tight by the waist like I was embracing him.
“Ryan please, stop it!” I pleaded.
“Let me go!” He yelled and tried freeing himself from me, but I didn’t let him.
Royce also stood up from the floor immediately and tottered backwards.
That was when the maids came running in, together with the rest of the family members.
“Ryan!” His mum called in shock.
“Oh, my God!” She gasped.
Royce was badly injured.
“Royce!” Lana also called in fright as she scuttled in.
“Son!” His mother shrieked and went to hold him.
The whole place was a mess.
I was still holding Ryan.
“What happened here!” Ryan’s mom squeaked.
“Did you just try to kill my son?” Royce’s mum asked, blenched.
“Yes! And I promise to ch©p off his balls the next time he tries to use them on my wife!” Ryan said raucously and stormed out of the kitchen.
Oh, goodness!
“What?” Lana scoffed and moved away from Royce.
God! This is not good.
I ran out of the kitchen immediately.

Lady K’s Pov:
“Are you guys serious about this?” Lia said as she stood in front of Bonnie, Ava and I.
“I mean, can you even hear yourself? How can you think of doing such a thing to Bethel?”
“Come on, Lia. What’s wrong with it? Don’t tell me you’re already falling for her” Ava rolled her eyes.
“Quit the joke, Ava. Do you know what’s gonna happen if Ryan gets to know we were behind it? He’s going to skin us alive! He’ll definitely kill us. You know how crazy he can be when he’s angry. And he doesn’t take it lightly if something that is his gets tampered with” she nagged.
‘And whoever said he has to know, huh?” I asked, feeling pissed off.
“Besides, he doesn’t even love that lady. They were forced to get married for fk sake!”
“Are you kidding me?” She scoffed.
“Did you just say Ryan doesn’t love, Bethel? Please Karen, don’t act like you don’t know what’s going on. He bought an expensive Bugatti for her for valentine. You also told us about the expensive necklace he bought for her at the mall. And just yesterday, she was staying alone with him at his mansion. So, are you still tryna say Ryan doesn’t love her?
“You all know how Ryan acts towards the people he dislikes. He snobs them! He doesn’t buy them expensive gifts! So, stop trying to deceive yourselves!”
“Come on, Lia. Why re you being this way? Now that I’ve finally found a way to get back at that b*tch, you’re trying to go against me” I said with a pout, trying to look pathetic.
“Well, I’m just scared of what the outcome would be because Ryan’s definitely gonna kill us if he finds out about this and sorry, but I don’t think I’m ready to face his wrath.
“You’ll always have my support, Karen, but this…I’m sorry, I can’t be a part of it. You can do it yourselves” she said and walked out.
What?
“Lia!” Bonnie called after her, but she didn’t turn to look at us.
“Let her go” I said dauntlessly.
“We don’t need her.

Bethel’s Pov:
I walked into the garden and stood behind Ryan as he sat and drank.
I could tell he was still angry.
He did knew someone was there, but didn’t bother to have a look.
“R…Ryan” I called charily.
He just drank from his glass and didn’t turn to look at me.
I bent my head and fiddled with my nails.
“I’m sorry for what happened.” I said.
“But I want you to know I’m fine now and you don’t need to worry about me anymore”.
He still kept quiet.
Geez! This guy really needs to work on his temper.
“Ryan…” I called and he stood up immediately, keeping the glass of wine on the stool beside him.
“Come with me” he said icily and started walking into the house.
I flinched.
O..kay;
What’s he up to?
Well, knowing I couldn’t disobey him, I started following him.
I followed him into the house and we ended up in the bedroom.
“Start packing your things. We’re leaving” he said as he opened his wardrobe and took out his six ATM cards from it.
What?
I scoffed.
“We…We’re leaving?” I asked, confused.
“Yes. We’re going back to my mansion. We’ll be staying there from now on. We’re never coming back to this place” he replied in a brisk as he arranged his laptops and phones.
Whaat?
Okay; I think this is a dream.
“Don’t just stand there, Bethel. Hurry up and pack your things. Besides, we’re married and we deserve to live alone and start up our own family. So, we’re getting out of here” he said icily and rounded up what he was doing.
He carried one of the laptops and his phones and started towards the door.
“You can just pick your school uniforms and books. I’ll get you new clothes when we get there” he said by the door and walked out.
Oh, my God!
I felt my heartbeat skip.
I’ll be living alone with Ryan from now on??”
