What just happened? Did Alfredo leave me on stage. Did he just embarrass me in front of my family and the guests.
They were all murmuring and were all in shock… Abner ran towards the stage and took the microphone from the master of ceremony.
“Calm down, we’ll handle this.
Its just a little misunderstanding” he said and gave the mic to his dad whom was standing on stage too….
“Come on” he said and with his hand on my wrist he led me out of the stage.
And I saw myself in The garden.
“Nicky,I hope you ain’t angry?”
“No why should I?”
“He left you on stage in a cruel manner and it isn’t worth it, you’re special and you deserve a good person in your life. Not a person as cruel as my brother”
“Thanks, but why was I Betrothed to him and not you…
You’re the first right?”
“Yes I came out before him, but it was my dad’s doing.
Alfredo is his favorite and he loves him more than us” he said and tucked some strands of hair behind my ears.
He’s really nice and loveable, unlike his wicked twin.
“Oh I see!”
“I hope you’re aware of The reason why you were Betrothed”
“Yes I am”
“Sorry about that though”

I knew this would happen, Alfredo was never in support of this whole arrangement but this old people won’t let him be.
Now he embarrassed not just himself and his family, he embarrassed me too.
I shouldn’t have come to this party at first.
In fact I’m going to my room, I’m tired and I need to sleep. I have school tomorrow.

“Make sure you guys arrange this room properly, is for the new couples ” I said while giving the servants orders.
“Jade, what’s going on here? Why are they moving Alfredo’s furniture’s?”
“He’ll be sharing his room with his wife so that they’ll get along, Dad’s orders”
“Really? I don’t think this a good Idea”
“Why…. No, move the bed to the centre… Why don’t you think is a good idea?”
“You know the way Alfredo behaves, he might strangle that girl at night”
“Alfred won’t do such… You better go to work, cos you ain’t needed at home”
“Yeah, I’m leaving”
“Okay, the television will be perfect there”
“OK ma”
“Jade, what are you guys doing”
“What are you still doing at home?”
“I’m not going to work today”
“Why?”
“I don’t feel like it, I’m still mad at Alfredo”
“Oooh! Well I’m supervising the servants job”
“Really?”
“Yeah. Alfred and Joy would have to share the same room …..”
