It’s been a month.
And I can say I and Nathaniel are getting well with each other.
I feel so happy around him.
I feel safe around him.
He has given me so much happiness.
I have been able to take Sara’s place in his heart.
I smiled.
I sat down at the sitting room with the Mrs Raymond
Nathaniel has left for work.
” Rose do you know Nathan birthday is coming up? Mum asked.
I arched my brow.
” Really?
” Yes my dear”..
I smiled.
” Thank you so much rose for given my son the chance to love again.. it is all because of you, he is happy once again..thank you rose” mum said.
I smiled.
” It’s nothing mum”
” Ever since he lost Sara..he became cold and quiet, he doesn’t remember his birthday neither does he remember the kids birthday, he gets angry whenever we celebrate his birthday” mum said.
” But now, he is a changed person, so rose i want us to organize a simple birthday party for him please”
I smiled.
” Of course mum, we Will celebrate his birthday” i beamed.

I woke up this morning without rose beside me.
But she slept here last night.
It is too early for her to be up from bed.

I feel happy whenever I see her.

I got up from bed.

I got there.

I headed downstairs.

” Rose?

” Mabel” i called.

I was about walking to turn on the lights.
When the light came on.
I turned.
And saw the sitting room decorated.
I was shocked.
Today is my birthday?
Did they do all of these?
” Happy birthday”
I saw rose and the kids walking in with a cake.
The kids were singing Happy birthday.
Smile creeped on my face.
They got to me.
” Happy birthday Nathan” rose said kssing my cheeks.
I smiled.
” Happy birthday Dad” the kids yelled.
I laughed.
” Thank you” i said kssing their foreheads.
I turned to rose.
I stared at her.
She winked.
I laughed.
” Thank you so much rose” i smiled holding her cheeks.
” Happy birthday” I heard
I turned and saw mum and dad coming in.
I smiled.
Am really surprised to see them here early this morning.
” Mum, dad” I hugged them.
Mum kssed my forehead.
” I Wish you lots of happiness” she said.
” Thank you mum”
I moved to Dad.
I hugged him.
” Long life my son”
” Thank you Dad” i smiled.
” Now it is time to cut the cake” Mabel yelled.
Rose laughed.
” Come on Mabel, you need to freshen up”
” But mum..
” Don’t worry the cake is yours” rose said.
She beamed.
I smiled.
I moved to rose, I held her cheeks and kssed her nose.
” Dad” they kids yelled.
I laughed.
” Why don’t you go freshen up son, we already organized party for you” mum said.
I smiled and looked at rose.
” Let’s go up kids” rose said.
The kids followed her.
I got into my room.
Freshen up and dressed up.
Looking handsome as ever.
I took the ring I bought for rose.
Yeah, I wanna propose to her but haven’t gotten a perfect day but I think today is the day.
I can’t remember the last time I had a birthday party.
Even I don’t celebrate the kids birthday.
I don’t even know today is my birthday.
But today.
Rose and the kids celebrated me.
She woke up and early as she could and plan everything.
Am sure she is the master planner of everything.
She is just the best thing that ever happened to me.
What would have happened if I didn’t found her at the hotel?

” Nathan, we are waiting” mum yelled jerking me out of my thoughts.
I got out of the room and met mum and dad.
” Where is rose and the kids? I asked.
“They already left for the party” mum said.
” Let’s go” dad said.
We got into the car and the driver drove off.
We got to the venue.
I smiled.

” Happy birthday, Nathaniel Raymond”
We walked in.
It was beautiful decorated.
So many people were present, some of my business partners.
Camera flashed.
Taking pictures of me as I walked in with mum.
Some gasped when they saw me.
I kept looking around if I could sight where rose is.
We got to the seat prepared for the celebrant.
” Happy birthday Nathan”
Kayden said.
I smiled and shook hands with him.
” Thanks man.
The party went on.
But where is rose?
Mum said she is here at the party but why haven’t I seen her?.
I got worried.
I took the mic
I cleared my throat.
Everyone paid their attention to me.

I was aware of when he came in.
I smiled when I saw him looking around obviously looking for me.
I saw Nathaniel took the mic.
He cleared his throat.
Everyone turned to him.
” Attention everyone” he said.
” I want to appreciate everyone who came here today to honour me. I appreciate everyone who came here to celebrate with me, thank you all” he said
Everyone clapped.
He cleared his throat still looking around.
Everywhere became silent.
” I want you all to help me appreciate the person who made today possible for everyone of you to be here today, the one who made the party possible, the one who has given me so much happiness, the one who is the reason for my smile today, the one who stood by me, the one who will do anything for Nathaniel Raymond, the mother of my two beautiful kids” he said.
Angel and Mabel went to him and stood beside him.
Everyone clapped.
” The one who still love my perfect imperfections.. she is the reason behind the Nathaniel Raymond standing here today”
” Please help me celebrate Rose Raymond” he said.
Everyone clapped cheering.
Tears welled up in my eyes.
I know am the one he is talking about.
” Rose, where are you? He yelled looking around.
” Rose” he called..
Everyone turned obviously in search of me with their eyes.
” Mum” Angel yelled.
I came out.
Walking towards where Nathaniel stood with the kids.
” Wow” excaped some mouth.
People turned to look at me as I walked.
I fixed my gaze on Nathaniel.
The mic in his hand dropped.
He smiled staring at me.
Cameras flashed taking pictures of me.
I got to where Nathaniel is.
” Where were you? He whispered.
” Here” I said with a smile.
Everywhere became silent.
With cameras flashing.
” You looked beautiful rose” he said.
I smiled.
He knelt down with one of his kneel.
I looked her him.
He brought out a small box.
He opened it .
I gasped.
It is a very beautiful shinning ring.
He wants to propose?
” Rose, ever since you came into my life, you have given me so much happiness, you taught me how to love again, I didn’t even know when I fell in love with you, you are just perfect rose, you mean the whole world to me. I know i was a jerk before. I know I have hurts your feeling but like you said it is all in the past.
I won’t lie rose, am in love with you. Yes rose i love you so much… Please don’t say no to me. Will you marry me? Will you marry and make me the happiest man on Earth? Will you please marry me and become my only Mrs Nathaniel Raymond? Will you marry me rose?
I watched him.
Tears rolled down my cheeks..
” Mum, please say yes” Angel said.
I kept staring at Nathaniel still on his kneel.
The famous and richest man is on his knees before me asking me to marry him.
I opened my mouth.

” YES, I will marry you” I yelled loudly.
He stood up and inserted the ring on my finger.
He crushed his lips on my mind.

Ethan couldn’t stop crying.

The door opened.
” Honey” Nathaniel yelled coming inside.
” Shushhhh” i said placing my hand on his lips.
He looked at me then Ethan.
He smiled.
” He is asleep? He asked.
I nodded my head.
” He is just like you” i said wrapping my hands round his neck.
He wrapped his hands round my waist.
” Thank you for everything” he said staring at Ethan.
I smiled.
He looked at me.
” It was you rose who gave me the reason to love again, you have given me so much happiness.. I love you Rose” he said.
” I love you too” I smiled.
He crushed his lips on mine.
I responded.
We kssed passionately.
Devouring each other lips.
We heard Ethan’s cry.
We broke the kss.
I looked at him.
He has a smile on.
” I thought he was sleeping a while ago? Nathaniel asked.
I laughed.
” He is saying, he doesn’t want you kssing his mum” i said.
” No..no that is a lie, he is saying I shouldn’t stop kssing you” he said
I laughed.
” Why don’t you let ask him? Nathan asked.
“Okay”
We got to the bed where Ethan is.
” Little one, what were you saying? Nathan asked.
Ethan smiled widely.
I laughed.
