Godiva stared at her phone as it rang without picking up. Getting tired of the numerous calls from the unknown number, she groaned before picking up

? Hey.
She heard a masculine voice

? You are?
She questioned

? Davis Blue

? Davis green

She said sarcastically while Davis chuckled

? That wasn’t funny. So why did you call?

She asked though she was aware it was the guy her mom was talking about

? Are you busy right now? Davis asked

? Are you jobless? She asked back

? Huh?

? Yes.. cause you should know I’m at work..

She rolled her eyes while Davis chuckled again

? Oh! I’m actually at work too. I’ll drop by later so we could go out on a date.. Davis smiled but she only scoffed before ending the call

” He’s not serious with his life..” Godiva sighed, wearing her nose mask before walking back to the laboratory.

” What are you still waiting for?” Mr harmsburg asked Vespertine who sat down going through the numerous books on the principal’s table

” Call them now.. ” Mr harmsburg said while he ( vespertine ) bit his lower lips slightly

‘ Diva is busy, Larina will be angry if she hears I caused trouble and Alston?….. ‘ he thought with a sigh

” Sir, my parents are busy….. ”

” Call your relatives then..” Mr harmsburg cut in

” My sister is quite busy too and my cousins aren’t here in the country..” he replied

” Just Make sure your parents sees me before going home today..”

” Of course, they’ll come..” Vespertine replied and left the office

He walked to class and met Jerry who was glaring at him

” You’re still alive? I thought you were gonna call your parents to come babysit you..” he said, settling on his seat

? Vesper is just too cool..

? I love him, swears

” Hey vesper, what did the principal say?” Hannah asked.

She had a huge crush on him. Jerry had asked her out but she turned him down because she was madly in love with Vespertine instead

” Well, he said he needs to see my parents..” he replied *nonchalantly*

Though he knew Hannah had a crush on him but he wasn’t ready for any relationship, the fact girls drool over him were enough for him.

He couldn’t even think of having a girlfriend when he had a sister who behaves like a psychiatric patient even though he liked her cr@zy attitude

” What about a movie at the cinema by 4pm? Who’s in? ” He suddenly asked

” Who’s gonna pay for the ticket?” A student asked

” All bills on me..” he replied and the girls gushed happily

” Really? ” Trisha, another girl asked and he nodded.

” It would be even more fun if your parents could come cause I believe the movie is gonna be a blast”

” What’s the title..”

” Psychópathic display” he replied

” Wow, I love psychopath movies ..” a girl said

” Then make sure you don’t go home after school hours cos a big show is gonna be displayed. Everyone is welcome..” he said and immediately a teacher walked in

” Mr Tim, you’re welcomed too.. ” Vespertine flashed him a smile since he was the one who sI.apped him earlier for no reason

Mr Tim ignored him and turned to Jerry

” Are you okay? ” He asked and Jerry nodded

” He’s not okay yet, he needs a babysitter ” Vespertine replied

” I wasn’t talking to you!” Mr Tim fired While he just smiled.

He was already imagining the show Godiva was gonna be performing when she finally comes.

He smiled again and brought out his book

” You have a test now..” Mr Tim said, giving Vespertine hateful glares

” I don’t know if we were enemies in our past lives cos I don’t understand all the hateful glares you’re throwing at me..” Vespertine said, his gaze on his books.

Mr Tim didn’t say a word as he faced the whiteboard and wrote the questions on it

” I wonder why you keep giving us kindergarten questions to answer. What am I saying When I know fully well you’re dumb..” he muttered and stood up

He handed the answer sheet to Mr Tim before walking back to his seat

” You’re done for real?”Hannah asked but he choose not to answer as his gaze were on Mr Tim who was staring back at him

Minutes later, the other students were done and Mr Tim did the corrections for them before marking their script.

” I got everything..” Vespertine smiled after staring at the whiteboard. He brought out his phone and was about playing games on it when he remembered he needed money urgently to buy a sneakers he saw online which cost $7k

” She won’t give me the money even if I ask. My first offence was bringing her car to school..”

He smiled broadly when an idea popped up in his head

” She’s a billionaire, she won’t notice if I take $7k right? ” He said before hacking into Godiva’s treasury and transferring the money to his account.

” That was easy..” he smiled

COOL RESTAURANT

Godiva sat opposite Davis who was smiling at her but she wouldn’t even smile back

No doubt she was beautiful even with the frown on her face

Why was he smiling at her? She scoffed before rolling her eyes

” Did I do something?” Davis asked

” Yeah, your smile isn’t beautiful ” she rolled her eyes again

” Huh? ”

” Stop smiling and do what you came here to do..” Godiva replied

” Oh!.. was the only thing that left Davis mouth as he gave their orders

” Don’t stress you @ss young lad, I didn’t come here to eat cheap food cos the most expensive food here, I gave it to my dog yesterday..” she said…

” Huh? ” Davis exclaimed shocked, but Godiva’s phone rang. She didn’t even tell Davis she was gonna excuse herself, She just stood on her feet and went somewhere quiet

” Is she always like that? ” Davis wondered as he stared at her

? What happened? Godiva asked

? It’s the treasury account ma’am. It was hacked and the sum of $7k was deducted..

? Is that so? She asked and ended the call

” Vespertine!!!” She called his name with gritted teeth

” I’m going to kll you for real you motherfker.

I’ll crush your bones” she said balling her fist tightly

She walked back to Davis with a fake smile which suddenly turned to a frown

” Thanks for the date..” she said and with that, she left even before the waiter could bring their orders.

” Hmm… ” Davis breath out

” What lady does this? ” He sigh and the waiter brought their orders..

” You can take it back..” he said, paying for the meal and leaving the restaurant afterwards
