RED AND THE ALPHA : CHAPTER 21 – 30

Drakko who saw this held out his hand pulling her to his embrace where she now laid unconscious.
His thumb went to wipe the tears that lingered on her cheeks as he whispered to her.

“I won’t let any harm come to you”
He whispered to her taking her out of there and into the room he had kept her in.

Seeing her state, he frowned deeply.

“Get Cerci” he ordered and instantly she was brought forth.

“How dare you?!” He growled when she knelt before him.
The anger he emitted made her tremble.

“I’m sorry Alpha I did what I had to do.
You brought her to Agatha’s room”

“That’s because she’s back. She’s Agatha”

“What?!” She exclaimed in shock not understanding him.

Did he say she was Agatha?
Clearly that’s not true.
Before she could correct him, he interrupted her.

“Take her away. No food or water should be given to her until a say so”

“What is this? ALPHA please” she pleaded but was dragged out.
On her way out, she saw him calmly seat by Red’s side, worry and concern on his face.

Fueled by anger, she walked out heading to the place they would detain her.

“Give me your phone” she said to the man that escorted her.

“Why?”

“Shut up and give it to me” she demanded for him to do as told.
She couldn’t bear to see the Alpha going soft.

It seems like that little witch used sorcery on him and she wouldn’t stand to take it.

She knew just who to call to end this nonsense.

Dialling the number, she heard the person from the other end respond.

“You called after so long” said the person on the other end.

“We have a problem”

“What’s wrong?”

“It’s the Alpha. He has gone soft” she said.

She had saved this number in her head for moments like these when the Alpha seemed to sway.

“I see” he simply said.
Danger underlying his voice.

Red who had been unconscious woke up with a loud scream only to be comforted by Drakko who was by her side.

“It’s okay you are safe” he assured her. With him embracing her and his words gentle, it soothed her.

The pain in her legs shut up making her wince and Drakko noticing this, stared down at it to see the bandage wrapped around it.

Thankfully it wasn’t too bad and wouldn’t leave her a cripple.

“It will heal soon” he said with a smile.

The smile given from him to her made Red blink as she felt her heart skip a beat not out of fear.

Aside from his murderous intent, he was really looking and caring making her lost in a daze for a while until his voice drew her out.

“Agatha” he called making a hint of sadness wash over her.
That name, she wasn’t Agatha.
For a moment she was lost in his gentle touch.

He only cared about Agatha and not her.

If he found out she was Red she was sure he would instantly kill her.

“I’m fine” she muttered.

“You haven’t eaten” he said bringing forth a bowl of freshly prepared meat.

From the looks of it, it was spicy and smelt heavenly.

When she attempted to feed herself, the food was taken away from her as Drakko sat by her bed to feed her.
Even when he insisted on feeding herself, he declined feeding her himself.

In the end, he fed her all of it drawing her to his sturdy chest as they both laid there.

Now in his arms, she felt his warmth.

He was too warm making her feel cozy.

At first she was uncomfortable with him being next to her.

“Relax” he said feeling her unease and only then did she finally relax.
As she laid in his embrace, she heard a low growl emanating from him startling her.

His chuckle was heard over her head.

“It’s my wolf” he said making her eyes go wide.

“I…”

“It’s okay, it won’t hurt you infact, it’s the opposite.
He wants you” he said startling her the more to see her go rigid in his arms making him to smile.

“Go to sleep” he said placing the duvet above them.

“You are not leaving?”

“No, I’ll never leave you again” he said moving even more closer to her.

“I don’t feel sleepy”

“Let me tell you a story?” He said for her to nod.

“What should the story he about?”

“Tell me… Tell me about Agatha” she said at first hesitating to ask about her.
