RED AND THE ALPHA : CHAPTER 21 – 30

Yes Red was curious to know who she really was.

A woman who was able to capture his heart making him even going as far as killing his other mates just to revive her was truly remarkable.
So yes, Red was curious.

“Agatha is a lovely girl…” And so he began with the name lingering on his lips.

In that position she listened to him spill tales about her.
Tales of her life and her love for him.

Their love was unique and Red could somewhat understand why he was willing to go to this extent to have her once more.

Sadness cladded her heart as she too wanted someone who could make her heart flutter.

Someone who could love her just as much but she guessed it was just her wishful thinking.

At this moment, she recalled Poco’s words, she needed to make him mark her in other for her to survive.
A sigh left her lips.

Listening to the story he told, she fell asleep in his embrace.

Drakko seeing her sleep smiled kissing the top of her head and in no time, he too fell asleep next to her.

Morning was quick to arrive and when Red woke up, she found Drakko gone.
She attempted to fall, she almost fell down to the floor when the pain jolted through her body only to be stopped by a pair of firm hands preventing her fall.

“Easy” a musky voice sounded from her and the sweet smell of cologne penetrated her nostrils.

Looking up, she found Drakko holding on to her.

It seemed like he just took his shower as he smelled of a mint sweet scent.

His smile was bright and warm making her to stare a little longer.

“Do I have something on my face?” He questioned for her to timidly shake her head.

“Good to know” he said sitting her on the bed before going out to bring forth a wheelchair for her easy movements.

“Until the wound is properly healed”
Picking her up in a bridal style he sat her to the chair before wheeling her out.

Outside, she found arrangements being done.

The entire place looked extremely glamorous with everyone walking up and done.

Drakko could see the question that lingered in her eyes as he wheeled her out.

“What’s going on?” She asked him to feel the wheel chair stop and Drakko to stop in front of her.

“Arrangements are being made. We’ll be having a very special guests soon”

“Special guests? Who is coming?” She asked to see his smile widen.

“ALPHA DREX, YOUR BROTHER” he answered.

Red recalled that she didn’t have any brother but that meant that A garbage brother was coming to see her.

She could already see the expression he would have when instead of seeing his sister, he finds a stranger impersonating her.

“What’s wrong?” Drakko asked when he saw the puzzled look up her face.

“It’s nothing” she said feigning a smile.

“Come now, its time you rake your medicine” from there, he wheeled her away.

“Poco made them specially for you”

“Poco?” She asked looking puzzles but seeing him mod, relief washed over her.

Earlier, she had thought something Terrible had happened to her but hearing she was alive made her feel relived.

“Is…is she okay?”

“Of course. She’s also dying to see you”

“Can I see her?”

“Not now. Once you take your meds and have some rest, then you can see her”

Glad with this news, Red nodded and from there her medicines were brought to her.

Taking them, she had a few hours rest before she began to bug Drakko once more to let her see poco.

And not able to refuse Jer words, he wheeled her into a room. She recalled it was the same room she wasn’t permitted to go into.
