CHAPTER 102
“I will get him for you….” Jayson said with gritted teeth and I shook my head
“What if he gets us first?, He obviously hasn’t backed out of his plan of ruining us, he intentionally got closer to me just so he could get to you, I’m scared, I’m so scared right now Jayson” I said with fright and he shut his eyes in hurt
“It’s going to be okay, everything will be fine” Jayson trails as he hugged me
“Why did Jasper wanted you guys dead in the first place?” I suddenly blurted and Mrs Mantinda’s expression changed instantly, I could clearly see the uneasiness written boldly on her well structured face as she looks away
“There’s got to be a reason” I said again and Jayson was also quiet, that made me suspicious instantly, they’re obviously hiding something from me, because Jasper wouldn’t just want to kill his family for no reason, there has to be a reason why he made that drastic decision
“I will be inside, take care of your wife Jayson” Mrs Mantinda said with a voice I could barely recognize, it was hoxed and cold and filled with pains and hurt and lies….. she’s obviously mad at something or rather Jasper, her movements were ragged too as she could barely maintain a straight walk, constantly rubbing her forehead till she was completely out of sight
“Even I don’t know the reason behind my younger brother’s hatered towards us, at first we were close but he just suddenly distanced himself and started acting creepy, he would sit quietly and laugh or talk to himself occasionally, my parents took him for different therapy but he wasn’t responding, if only he had said something but we couldn’t get him to talk, nobody could….he just changed” he stated and I was drowned in thoughts
That seems oddly familiar, just like Avia, we were once close but she suddenly distanced herself and started loathing against me, it only means one thing, something must have triggered such acts…. maybe, just maybe they’re suffering from low self-esteem and that pushed them into loathe and hate….but is that enough reason to attempt murder?, Or did Jasper’s parents did something to make him turn out this way?
So many unanswered questions

Jayson’s Pov
I remember a certain time when my parents would warn me to stay away from Jasmine when we were younger, I would cry and fumbled and end up in a fùcking hospital because apparently my system can’t survive without her
The very day of the accident, I casually said I wanted to marry Jasmine and make her my forever, even though I was only ten years, my Dad took it very seriously and started throwing tantrums, vibrating and cursing loudly not minding if I was there, he was so mad that I had to run and hide in a corner
“Bartle, take he easy, he’s just a child” my mom said as she glued to his side while holding his arm fondly, her voice that usually does magic on my Dad seems to have lost his charm as he snearled at her
“Nonsense!, just a child you say?, I will have to remove that stupid thought out of his goddamn mind before he becomes a man, as s matter of fact, I’m filing a restraining order on that stupid family!” My dad thundered, freeing himself from her touch
“Bartle!, It hasn’t gotten to that!” My mom yelled but he shoved her aside, he’s obviously looking for me but I was tucked safely in my hiding spot
“One more word Matin….. and I will really be crossed at you!” My Dad said with difficulty, he’s never yelled at my mother before, he has never looked at her with so much anger, this part of my Dad made me scared as I slowly poked my head out
“Daddy, why do you hate them so much?, I thought we were family?” I asked and his facial expression calmed down immediately, he walked towards me and squatted as he caress my hair, Jasper was behind us, staring at us with a bored expression
“I’m sorry son, I’ve already filed the restraining order and you are not allowed to be seen near them ever again” my Dad’s word broke my heart as I stared at my mother, she was weak and obviously couldn’t do anything to change his mind
“We should at least meet up with them once, we have to let them know before signing the restraining order, don’t you think?” My mom’s calm voice made him reasoned and agreed to it
“The black Audi….I will go grab my keys and we will leave, son, you have to let go of your childish crush, it ain’t happening” my Dad said once more and I ran to my mother’s arms and started sobbing, Jasper simply walked outside….. ignoring the tears
I should have known he had something dubious going on in his fúcked up head, we didn’t more attention as he walked in out before us and vehemently refused to go with us, but suprisingly he was present at the scene of the tragic accident, fúck me for not noticing his sly moves and unhinged face that held zero emotions
I don’t hate my brother, he’s my brother for fûcks sakes but he started this all blood battle, making Jasmine’s parents die with the feeling that my parents killed them, and that’s not what happened, it’s not like I can summon then from the dead and explain how everything really happened and my parents were just on lucks side, but I still lost my Dad so it’s not much of a fulfilled luck if you actually think about it.
