“Are you okay?” Jasmine’s beautiful voice broke my long train of thoughts and I blinked repeatedly, finally observing my surroundings and I realized we were in her room, when did we get here?, Damnit!…..I zoned out
“I’m fine Star, you want something to eat?” I asked and she held my hands instead and pulled me closer, kissing my jawline as she stared back at me, fúck!, I just can’t stay away from this element of beauty wrapped in a trap of dangerous disaster
“You should know by now that you can’t lie to me, I can see it very clearly….. you are worried” she said, I can see her trying not to let the revelation get to her, she’s really fighting to be strong and the least I can do is to be strong for the both of us too
“I will be fine, if you promise me that you will also be fine and you won’t leave my side no matter what happens” I pouted and she chuckles, but it didn’t go that far as she withdrew her smile
“I’m here okay…” She trails and I kissed her forehead, I just can’t get enough of her, she’s always in my face, my space, my brain and that’s fùcking intoxicating to some extent but I’m not complaining, now am I?…..I love being with her every single moment
“So, I was thinking of going to your former work space and see if I can…..” I trail and she suddenly pulled away from me while covering her mouth, she seems nauseous and stepped away from me…… “Are you okay?” I asked this time and she looks at me with discomfort
“I will be in the bathroom” she mumured and walked into the bathroom…..
“Well, that was weird” I pointed out and shrugged boh shoulders, right now I’ve something very important to take care of.

“You guys noticed Jasper and Avia no longer come to work right?” Delilah asked and Roland looked at her for a breef moment
“Yeah, that’s actually true….. I haven’t seen them this week, did they quit or something?” Roland asked and Mika lifts her head from the table she was laying on
“I’d quit too if I don’t want to be bored out of my fúcking mind” Mika groans as she rest her head on her shoulder while fiddling with her phone
“Aren’t you guys worried?” Delilah asked again and Mika scoffed
“Why should be worried about those two?, who cares about them?” Mika said with a smirk
“I don’t know but I think Delilah has a point, we should be worried about them” Roland said as he pulled out his phone and dails Jasper’s number but it ain’t going through
“See, you both are just being busy-bodies….. they are obviously fine…. good grief!!!!” Mika mocked and Delilah rolled her eyes
“I wonder if that’s how you were born” Delilah said while tucking her hair behind her ears in a cute way and Mika frowned
“Born as how?” Mika frowned harder
“An uptight abusive meanie….. you always have something negative to say about someone whereas you are the problem” Delilah stated as s matter of fact and Mika’s lips parted slightly as she slowly stood up
“I don’t want to be in the middle of whatever it is that’s going on….. seriously girls, no need to be at each other’s throats all the time” Roland suggested while pulling Mika aside
“I just wanted to be close to her so she can say it to my face properly…..”
“I already did, what are you going to do about it?” Delilah grined mischievously
“The only reason I’m not shoving my fists into your mole like shaped face is because we’re at work and i don’t want to get fired…. lucky you” Mika said with gritted teeth as she clenched her fists tightly
“Since when do you care about what people have to say?, come on….show me what you can do”
“That’s enough Delilah!….. just stop it!” Roland voiced out and Delilah chewed on her remaining words
“Bîtch….” Mika snearled as she left their space and walked to the counter
“So Roland, about our date…..I found a great spot and I booked reservations already….. aren’t you excited?” Delilah asked as she clasped her hands together in a hush tone.
