CHAPTER 108
Mika stumbled into my life two years ago, she knows nothing I didn’t want her to know about, every detail she knows about me is what I want her to know, I hate the fact that I know everything about her but she doesn’t even know half of what she’s supposed to know and we tag their ourselves”bestfriends”
“No secrets… tell me what I want to know, what I need to know” she said and I faced her while taking her hands
“You remember that time when you asked me why I’m paying rentage in my father’s house and why my uncle hates me so much?, and where are my parents?” I asked and she nods
“You told me not to worry about any of it….. were you lying?” She sounded hurt, I expected it but it’s better than not telling her at all
“The truth is, my parents died in an accident and my uncle took everything away from me, Avia….. she’s my cousin and her brother Laurence, I don’t know if know him, I doubt it, but they’ve made my life a living hell and that’s why I took this contract so I would be able to fight for my rights” I said and she had this look that I detest!, pity
“Avia is your cousin!?, that bîtch!, no wonder she hated you so much, but how those this apply to you not being with Jayson, what did he do?” She asked with curiousity
“The question isn’t what he did, but rather what did his family do?” I asked and her eyes lit up
“Are they responsible for your parents death?, don’t tell me they’re behind it?” Mika’s voice sounded terrifying
“Technically they’re responsible” I stuttered, I almost choked, I feel something sink deep into my subconsciousness
“Tell me everything about it”

Avia quietly looked out the window, trying to figure out where in the hèlls name her stupid brother and his supposed friend took her, it’s obvious they’re hiding, the place is secluded, no houses, no nothing…. just water and trees
Escaping is almost impossible, it’s not even considered an option but she has to try, but how?
Watching her father die was one of the things that opened her eyes to actually see why she shouldn’t have hated Jasmine in the first place, growing up her mom and dad always painted Jasmine black so she grew up hating Jasmine and distancing herself from her…. completely
“You hungry?” Jasper’s voice interupts her thoughts as she slowly faced him, even though he’s the mastermind behind her hostage, she couldn’t help but notice how dangerously attractive he is
Tall, pointed nose with no single fraction, normal sized hazel eyes, slick brown curls, broad figure, he’s just beautiful…..can a man be beautiful?, take a look at Jasper and see just how much of a demigod he is…… snap out of it Avia!
“You could have knocked, you know…. that’s what doors are meant for” she hinted sarcastically, snapping out of her mouth watering thoughts
“It’s not like you are naked, but it would have been a sight worth seeing, don’t you think?” he replied coly and she shuts her eyes closed, trying not to snap
“What do you want?” she asked, ignoring his raw compliment or whatever it is he just said
“You haven’t left your room for days now, I figured it’d be nice to see what’s going on in that little confused brain of yours, planning on escaping?” he asked with a smirk and she crossed her hands
“If I wanted to escape?, I would have done that a long time ago….”
“Noise!…” He retorted mockingly and she gulped down in anger, he sure knows how to get on one’s nerves
“Just let me go” she said in a sudden calm voice
“Make me, or better still…. bribe me” he said with a lip bite and she raised an eyebrow
“How am I supposed to do that?, I don’t have any access to my phone or money, oh wait…why?….umm because you and my phycho brother took everything away!” she glared and he clicked his tongue, dipping both hands in his pocket.
