CHAPTER 124
“Happy birthday in advance to you my lovely wife……few days to go and I decided to surprise you with the most elequent dinner…..” He said in an accent I couldn’t make out clearly but I laughed anyways because it’s kinda of funny
“I’m really surprised, this place is amazing” I said, goshing over the entire space before looking back at him……he always looks ravishing in whatever he puts on
“I know…. but you have to focus on the most mind blowing and captivating subject here” he said with a smirk and I raised my left eye brow
“And what’s that if I may ask?” I questioned and he stretched his hand forward taking my hands
“Me of course…….” He said in his weird funny accent and pecked my hands…..my cheeks heated up instantly as I looked at the affection he showered on them
“I know you are just doing all of this to take my mind off the pressing issues concerning my uncle…… and it’s working….” I trail and a frown plastered on his face instantly
“I don’t want to hear anything concerning any negativity…… tonight is meant for the both of us and the only thing that we should be discussing should be about us” he said and I released a chuckle
“As you can see…. these are all your favorite foods…. even though I had to force Noah to get them but hey, the most important thing is that they’re here right?”
He voiced out and I couldn’t help but laugh….. he’s really funny tonight…..well he’s always funny…..my eyes darted to his neck and the tatts stood out elegantly…..
I could clearly see my name from where I’m seated…….. why do I suddenly feel so special?…….I shouldn’t have such feelings
“That’s the most important thing…..” I said, my eyes roaming over the table and I picked up the chops….. filling my mouth in one go as he watched me keenly
“I’m going to spoil you rotten because you deserve it birthday girl……. enjoy” he said….the fact that he’s doing all of these without any s£xual intrusion makes me even fall harder for him, he’s so calm and collected……opps I didn’t mean to say fall harder…..I meant “attracted harder””
The cool music playing made me relaxed and a for a few moment I actually forgot who I truly am to this man but rather I enjoyed myself to the fullest….. happiness first baby……. happiness first

Breaking sounds and angry strides could be heard in Mandy’s room as her hand was bandaged…… she cursed loudly…… allowing the tears weighing on her face pour down like a river
Gina gasped as she entered the room and met everything scartterd…..the room is s mess as she slowly walked up to Mandy who was now sitting down on the couch besides her bed
“You really need to calm down…..” Gina said softly as she sat besides Mandy and pulled her head closer to her chest…. hugging her while Mandy sniffled
“I look like a freaking weakling right…..I should probably stop crying” Mandy said with tears coated voice as she stared at her hand…..her left hand to be precise….. three fingers are gone as she was left with two…..her pinky finger and thumb…..the three middle fingers are gone!
“It’s okay to cry but don’t destroy your room, I can’t keep cleaning up after your rage speers, it’s exhausting” Gina frowned and Mandy nods
“You have any idea on who attacked me yet?…… it’s been days” Mandy retorted and Gina pinched the bridge of her nose in disapproval
“No I don’t, but I do have something else that’s going to make everything better……..” Gina said with a smirk and Mandy faced her properly
“Seriously?” Mandy cooed as Gina pulled her close and whispered something into her ears, Mandy’s eyes lit up instantly as she stared at Gina in disbelief…..her eyes radiating vengeance
” she’s so going to regret this” Gina grins with a mischievous smile as Mandy nods…… loving the fact that Gina came up with a perfect plan
“Jasmine won’t see it coming” Mandy said as she stared down at her left hand with rush of adrenaline running through her entire body

Jayson’s Pov
Sitting down in my office as I scan through the suvellance cameras, trying to track down Jasper’s location…… since he once worked in the same resort as Jasmine,
I figured I could use that as homeboards to actually get to where he lives but turns out he doesn’t live there anymore
“Fúck” I muttered, all directions pointed to one room apartment right at the end of the city hall, the room is currently empty and Jasper is no where to found, after our little moment at the bar, he hasn’t been seen nor heard, I wonder where he’s hiding
“Dude, we got big problems” Noah’s voice interupts me as I looked up at him, he’s face looks fushed…. like he’s barely had a good sleep
“Talk to me….” I mumbled as he sat down across from my seat….. flipping his phone and adjusting his glasses, he only uses his “special glasses” when he’s trying to crack a case.
