CHAPTER 149

“J….. Jasper….. please….. don’t….. kill me….. please” Mandy pleaded as Laurence walked towards Gina and grab her by the arm before she could escape

“Oh, my sister didn’t tell you about our plan all along?” Jasper said and Mandy gasped

“I didn’t plan anything with you Jasper” Gina voice shakes as Laurence held her hand tighly

“Mandy, my sister has been working for me all along and she used you as a distraction to get Jasmine right where I want her, I know it breaks your heart to hear this but…… I’m about to send you to your maker, Eishhhh…..did that come out cringy?” Jasper says in a mocking smirk and Gina struggled to free herself

“How could you do this to me Gina, I trusted you” Mandy’s voice betrayed her as Jasper held the trigger

“They’re lying!, I didn’t do anything!, This is a pure set up!” Gina yelled and Laurence slammed his free hand over her mouth to muffle her sounds, she tried biting his hand but it was no use

“Mandy, you want to marry Jayson but I want Jayson dead, if I don’t do this then I’m very sure that you are going to be a pain on my face so I just have to clear you out, besides……….I never really liked you before, you labeled me a monster in one of those snubbly interviews back then so how about I show you just how much of a monster I am?” Jasper snarled as Gina watched with wide eyes

“I don’t want Jayson anymore…… just let me go….. please” Mandy stuttered as she looks at Gina, Gina could see the betrayal in Mandy’s eyes

“Too late, you’ve seen too much…. and heard too much, take Gina out of here” Jasper snapped and Laurence dragged Gina out with her kicking her feet and fighting his grip

“Let me go!….. Mandy!…..I swear to God, I know nothing about this!……mmmmph” her words got stucked as Laurence covered her mouth but only made her struggle harder, tears rolls down her eyes and her fighting came to an abrupt halt as three sounds echoed in the air………

“Mandy!!” Gina bites Laurence hands and pushed him off as she made to go back inside but a punch landed on her face and she passed out cold

Jasmine’s Pov

I stood in front of Jayson’s study room for what seems like hours and I haven’t gathered the needed courage to open the door, I don’t know why or maybe I do but I just don’t want to admit it yet, the fact that Jayson is really angry and I don’t know what’s running through his mind scares the bejesus out of me

You know that feeling when you are so close to someone that you don’t know what it’s like when they get angry, you don’t know the reaction they make….. and you’ve never seen them angry before?, That’s exactly what I’m going through right now. I’ve spent months with Jayson that I’m only used to his smiles and not his frown……… imagine me now being the reason behind his frown

I gulped down hard as I slowly opened the door little by little, trying not to make any sounds as I peaked in…….the room is dark but I can still make out a few things like the table, chair, shelves filled with books and other work stuff and most importantly a angry Jayson standing in front of the window

Looking at him from behind I can see how tensed he is, his shoulders rising and falling with heavy breaths…..his hands curled at the back as I see the veins tightening up…..he looks sad and mad at the same time and I just can’t help but feel terrible, I caused all of this….. it’s all my fúcking fault but I have to stop being a pûssy and make things right

Stepping inside fully, beads of sweat coating my entire body as I took shaky movement towards him, I never thought there would be a day where I would be scared of approaching Jayson, the fact that I hurt him broke me beyond repair and the manner at which he found out makes things worse

“What are you doing here?” His voice made me stop moving instantly, he’s still backing me but I can feel it in his voice that he doesn’t want me around

“I came to explain, just hear me out” I pleaded

“Explain?, I know I started this hiring shît but I never thought you would actually go out of your way to hurt me, I know I made you fool my Mother first but you, you really took things far” he said and I couldn’t bring myself to look at him even though he’s backing me

“I needed the help, I badly needed the help and she was willing to give it to me” I snorted

“So you agree to the fact that you were only into me because of the money, am I right?” He asked and I couldn’t miss the hurt in his voice as his hands tightened.
