“Jayson loves me and I love him too, the only reason I signed that contract was because I didn’t know he was my childhood friend, if I did, I wouldn’t have signed any contact” I said through gritted teeth
“Does it matter now?, He hates you and you are out!……. that’s all that matters” she retorted and it took everything in me not to strangle her dead
“Mandy will never be with Jayson, I’m going to make sure I put her back in her place once I’m out of here” I threatened and her glaring turned into a sad glare, her eyes stinging with hurt as she slides out of my face
“Mandy is dead…… watch the way you talk about the dead” Gina’s voice sounded hurt and I could feel the pains in it
Mandy is dead!?, Seriously?, Just like that!
I know I hated her guts but I never wished her dead
I would never have killed her even though she wants me to
“I’m sorry…..I didn’t know” I mumbled and she quickly wipes the tears that rolled down her eyes
“No need to be sorry, I just wished I was able to convince her that I had nothing to do with her dèath, but I couldn’t, now she died with the last thought that I betrayed her……..” She continues as more tears steamed down her eyes and I’m tempted to pull her in for a hug and wipe her tears away, she looks pained and hurt
“I’m guessing they also trapped you here?” I asked and she sniffled whilst cleaning her face
“He’s going to kîll me….. he’s going to kîll us all, he said the only reason I’m here is to give him inside information on what goes on in my parents business and once he gets them the I’m dead meat!” She yelled and I flinched as I slowly walked up to her
“Jasper is a monster” I said, no….. he’s more than a monster, he’s a deranged beast, he’s mentally unstable, I can feel it, he needs help
“He’s more than a monster, he’s bad news……I can’t believe I didn’t listen to Mandy when she warned me to stay away from him, I didn’t listen and I disclosed our home address to him and our plan to sabotage your marriage,
I’m such a fool!” She vibrated as I pulled her in for a hug, she sobbed uncontrollably as she subconsciously hugs me back, my eyes widened a bit as she squeezed me and I had to tap her a little before she realized she’s straggling me…….not just me, my little baby growing inside of me as well
“I understand” I said and she quickly pulled away from me and arranged herself
“I just wanted Mandy for my brother and I did stupid things, this is our last day in this room and once that door opens?……. we’re dead” she said and I saw the fear in her eyes
“It’s okay to look out for your brother, I understand you only wanted what’s best for him, but your family has put me through a lot of shît, maybe Jayson is right, we were never really meant for each other” I said and my heart’s stinged at the last part
“I’m sure my brother will come for you” she said and I looked at her but she isn’t looking back
“How do we escape?” I blurted, intentionally muting the thought of Jayson coming for me, he said we’re over………I don’t want to see him anymore
“If we’re going to escape?, The get ready to fight, play smart not strong” she said and my heart thumped loudly
How do I fight with a baby growing inside of me?
The door clicked twice and I braced myself up……. staggering backwards as the door opened….. Gina looks frightened and I tried reaching out for her hands but we got sprayed with something and the lights suddenly turned off…..or maybe I passed out…..it could be both
