CHAPTER 49B

“Well, doesn’t the place have a name? Huh?” I demanded and he took in deep breaths before responding.

“I got a call from Noah that a very important business associate wants to meet up with me for future plans, does that answer your question?” He retorted and I pouted my lips….. making it form a thin line

“So, you are going to leave me all alone in this big mansion?” I questioned with a sad tone and he raised an eyebrow

“We’ve been in this house since morning and we haven’t talked to each other…. what’s the difference?” He asked looking slightly confused, I’m stressing him and he knows it

“Well, there’s a difference because I know there’s someone with me” I said and he groans as I chuckled inwardly….. loving the way I get on his nerves without even trying hard

“I won’t stay out long…..I will be back before you know it” he said hoping I would drop it

“You are lying” I blurted out like a clingy girlfriend and he rubs his forehead

“I’m not lying and I’m seriously running late, can I go now?” He asked and I smile at myself

“You sure you are gonna come back early?” I asked…. wondering where all these are coming from

“I’m going to come back early….. that’s for sure” he said and made to open the door but my whining made he stopped

“Before you go, can I at least get a hug?” I said….. pouting my lips cutely and he almost chuckled but I clearly saw him hiding it

“Seriously?” He asked and I nod

“Just one hug…. Jay… pretty please” I said in a baby voice and he ruffled his hair trying to suppress the smile that’s about to spread on his face……I pulled my hands forward, wriggling it in a hugging gesture

“Fine….. just one hug” he said and I smiled brightly….. dragging myself towards him as I melted in his arms

I felt both hands around me, hugging me back…..I almost choked in surprise

He hugged me back?, Seriously?

“Okay, time up…. that’s enough” he said as he pulled away from me and I smiled sheepishly

“See you later” I said turning away as I heard him shut the door

He may pretend not to want me around him now?, but it wouldn’t take long before I win him over and I’m seriously working on that

The wasn’t part of my plan though, I just really needed a hug

Yeah, yeah…. it’s suiting and comfortable but it doesn’t mean anything…..I still hate his guts

I sighed deeply and focused on the TV went the door bell rang

I paused for a moment, wondering if it’s Jayson

I’m not sure because if it were him, he would just walk in and not ring the doorbell

I shrugged my shoulders as I continued watching the program and the doorbell rang again

“Kill joy!” I groaned as I forced myself and walked towards the door……I opened it with an irritating look on my face and I titled my head backwards

It’s a girl….. she’s putting on a strapped crop top and a baggy jean….. topping it with boots and a had two big clothe carriers

She slowly took of her glasses as she stared down at me before looking around

“Is Jayson home?” She asked and I frowned instantly

Is she one of those cheap whóres that throws their selves all over Jayson

“Are you lost?” I asked as I placed both hands on my waist……I was putting on a sweatshirt and it stopped right before my knee

“You are the one who should get lost….. because you are in my space” she said brashly and she shoved me out of the way….. walking inside

I wasn’t angry before but now this bîtch just crossed the line

“Excuse you?, Who are you and what her you doing in my house!?” I snapped and she turned around sharply

“My Mandy…. and I’m Jayson’s finacee….. you are just a street rat warming up my space and now that I’m here… you are no longer needed” Mandy said and Jasmine chuckles in a mocking smirk
