CHAPTER 70B

Roland’s Apartment

The deep pains as Mika slowly opened her eyes, she layed still as she studied her environment, it doesn’t smell like her house but rather a sweet scent of marble and rosy dents, it’s a really familiar scent that she’s come to recognized even if she’s been woken up from a deep sleep

She jerkes up instantly as the fluffy towel fell off her forehead, she pressed her neck lightly as anxiety laced through her, she started shaking, the events of last night flooding through her as she literally felt the pair of strong hands straggling her, her struggling and kicking, his cold voice and empty heart, if she hadn’t pretend to stop breathing?, Then he would have surly killed her

Her breathing got heavier as she remembered she dropped her phone on the ground yesterday, she shuts her eyes closed, digging her long fingers into her hair as she tried to breathe properly

The door opened and Roland entered, he immediately smiled as she looks at him, she didn’t know why he’s so kind to her despite the fact that she hates him

“You are awake!” Roland said with relief as he sat besides her, she tried not to inhale his sweet scent as she shifted slightly

“Thanks for saving my life” she mumbles and he taps her shoulders friendingly

“It’s okay friend, but who’s that guy that wanted you dead?” Roland asked and she bites her lips thoughtfully

She doesn’t know Alfred personally, of course she hasn’t offended him before, they only met at the party and he insisted they stepped out for a cool ride, a cool ride to her doom

It only means one thing, someone sent him, someone wants her dead, and there’s only one motherfûcker that would want her out of the way ………

Delilah!

“I don’t want to place accusations yet, but I do have an idea of who sent him, and I will fish that person out and kill him or her” she said and Roland took her hands

“I will help you” he said and she looks at their hands together, he’s already close to Delilah and telling him she might be the one would actually make him angry, she pulled her hands away from him and slowly stood up

“Don’t worry, I will handle it and thanks once more” she said and he stopped her

“I went back and brought your phone” he said cheekily and she gasped inwardly, taking the phone from him as they shared a long stare before she finally left, her mind hazy as fúck and Delilah is number one in her suspect lists

“Yes, Alf, nice work….” Delilah’s voice surfaced the room as she sat down elegantly, her lips twrilling as she smriks while staring at the picture of Mika laying lifeless

“She’s so clueless, for her to think that someone would actually want her?, That’s dumb” Alfred said and Delilah almost laughed but she hands him his phone

“Ain’t that cute?, she’s really dumb indeed Alf, she loves Roland but she doesn’t want to accept it, but now?, I’m going to make sure she never tells him, too bad she’s dead now” Delilah replied as she stood up and walked up to a big picture of Roland placed in the front of her room, she caress it fondly as s beautiful smile plastered on her face

“You love him alot now, don’t you?” Alfred asked and she smiles

“Alf, your work here is done so get out, that’s your full payment!” She said as she tossed him a brown evelope and he caught it, he smriks as she dismissed him with her hands

She heard the door shut behind her and she slowly turned to the big poster of smiling Roland

“You are mine Rolly, and anyone who tries to take you away from me?, would definitely not live to tell the end of the story” she said as she smiles brightly, flopping on the bed as she sprawled widely, feeling fulfilled and accomplished
