She was about to protest when he finally raised up his head.
She tried hard to compose herself so he won’t notice the redness of her cheeks, but he did, though he decided to keep quiet about it.
“You’ll pay for coming here with Alex” he whispered.
“Why would I? I’m free to do whatever I want, I’m not your girl” she muttered.
“Yes you are” he replied, sounding possessive, and she scoffed.
He finally carried her down, balancing her on her heels before getting his phone from the ground.
“Mr. Rawlings knows my dad, I was surprised” she said.
“Your dad was a painter, and Mr. Rawlings is a great love of ancient paintings, so it tallies” he replied.
“How much do you know about me?” She asked.
“Much more than you know. Those guys at the pool yesterday are my guards from the mansion, and even before I came back, i already told their leader to find out everything about you. I became obsessed with you from the moment I saw your picture” he replied, and she rolled eyes.
“It’d be better if you roll your eyes like that when I’m inside you” he said.
“You didn’t seriously just say that” she gasped.
“What about it?” He deadpanned, and she gave him the middle finger as she opened the door.
They met Alex waiting in front of the room with a murderous look on his face, he started walking to them.
“I brought her here, what right do you have to trap her inside?” He questioned.
“Alex…”
Ava wasn’t able to speak before Grayson talked.
“That’s crazy, you talk like you own her or something, and it’s making me wanna rearrange your teeth” Gray replied seriously
“Grayson Harper!” Alex shouted at his face.
“You both!” Ava cautioned, and Alex looked at her, but Grayson’s face remained on Alex.
“Stop, please” Ava said, and Alex faced Grayson who leaned in to whisper something in his ear.
His muscles hardened as he listened, and Grayson smirked when he finished talking.
He spared Ava a glance before leaving the hallway.
“Dîckhead” Alex muttered, taking Ava’s hand.
“Let’s go” he told her, taking her out.
