Chapter 38

Immediately, his fangs started pulling out on their own. Draco quickly pvshed her off roughly to avoid any further act from happening.

“Go to bed!” he said sternly as he made his fangs go back in.

“Master, are you ok?” Pearl asked as she noticed his sweats.

“I said go to bed!!!” He shouted loudly and she flinched. She rushed to her bed and covered herself up, shivering terribly in it.

Draco stood up and without sparing her a glance, he walked out of the room and shut the door loudly.

He sighed outside as he held the door’s handle. He looked at the door one more time, wondering how long he can hold on.

Vince’s Suite

“So you’re telling me that you failed again?” Vince said, drinking the blood in his cup.

“Am sorry Master” Daira apologized with her head bent.

“You know what to do” he said without looking at her and she nodded.

Immediately, she brought out a two edged da.gger from her pocket, then gave herself a deep cut on her left hand.

She didn’t groan or whimper from the pain, actually she felt nothing but the anger of failing. That anger eats her up more than anything can.

“Good fox!” Vince smiled deviously.

“I promise not to fail you again” she said, folding her hands in a way of saying sorry.

“You better not or I will have to do the cutting myself next time” he replied coldly with those eyes looking fierce than ever.

“Yes master!”

“Leave!” he ordered, drinking more blood from the cup and she left after a short bow.

“Daira” a girl called her as she walked out of the suite. She grabbed the girl’s neck and flung her roughly to a pillar, and continued walking.

Her look is a murderous one, ready to rip off anyone’s head from their body, just anyone who dares to cross her path.

“Rex, did you put the tracker as planned? Draco asked and he nodded.

“Yes I did, Here are the details of their location” Rex said, showing him the details on his laptop.

“Impressive!” He smiled dvilishly.

“I found more of his men in the South wing, but I took care of them” Luna reported with a devious smile.

“Good. I will let you know when to strike the other part”

“There will be an ambush, a strong one” Raven said as Draco wanted to conclude the meeting.

“No one asked for your opinion, we are not some scaredy-cats” Blaze said hoarsely and Draco shot him a glare.

“I know that Raven, that’s why you have to go and check the state of things there” He replied to her and she nodded.

“Now all these have been said, I will be in my room” He added and they nodded.

Just as Draco got up from his seat, a strange feeling struck him, a bad sensation rather. He ignored it and walked into his room.

Pearl has been here since Draco left the house. She’s not reading this time, she’s been playing the beautiful piano she saw there last.

Her heart and soul was really poured into it as she played each key perfectly. She also sang beautifully as she played.

To her, it made her feel so free, forgetting about any bothering issues in her mind.

“Forever and Ever…” she sang softly as she ended the song.

“I feel so good now” she said to herself as her face beamed with smiles.

“Now you’re my best friend after Evie, she said with smiles, rubbing the piano with her hand.

“But I won’t tell her about you yet” she giggled mischievously and stood up.

She walked over to the bookshelves to pick another novel to read.

Most of the books in there were paranormal stories, and that’s her kind of genre, but it’s weird that he has lots of them.

“Well, he’s weird after all” she said and shrugged.

Just as she took the one about ‘Vampires’, she heard whimpering sounds.

At first, she wanted to ignore it and pretend like it was nothing, but the cries came again.

“Where could these sounds be coming from? There’s no other room or person here” her thoughts started pondering.
