CHAPTER 9

One of the guards escorted me to my room and when I opened the door a loud gasp escaped my lips.

This room was bigger than my house. In the middle was a king size bed, with a green bedspread matching my green eyes.

At the corner was a table and chair, maybe for reading.

Beside it was a little shelf filled of books.

Then large television.

Ohh God, I’m I dreaming.

I closed the door behind me and there was a door at the left.

I opened it and my jaw dropped.

It felt like it was a whole new world.

It was my wardrobe, with different clothes folded neatly and shoes arranged properly.

I walked inside and the clothes looked expensive with different sneakers.

How did he know my taste in clothes and shoes?

I walked out and went to the bathroom. It was the most beautiful site I’ve ever seen.

A smile was made on my face and I can’t remember the last time I smiled genuinely.

I was supposed to be treated badly but it felt like I was treated like a princess.

I quickly went to the bathroom, took my bath and walked into my wardrobe looking for a pijamas to wear.

I found different pijamas hanging neatly as I wore the blue one .

Maybe giving me off wasn’t a bad idea, I thought.

I claimed the bed and it was the softest thing ever.

Minutes later I fell into a deep slumber.

It’s been a month since I’ve been staying with Mr William and it has been the best so far.

I and Mr William became close , we talked about things and sometimes watched TV together.

My wounds were being treated and it’s still a mystery to me how he found out.

All the scars were gone and my body was fresh like that of a new born baby.

I wished he was my father.

He buys me gifts sometimes when he comes back from work and he told me to stop calling him sir but by his name.

But I couldn’t, after so many arguments we agreed on Mr Williams.

This month spent with him was the best so far.

He’s the nicest man I’ve ever seen, although we don’t talk too much but he treats me well.

One thing I noticed about him was that none of the maids sleep in the house.
