CHAPTER 28

I continued moving my hand on his hair and this is the first time I’m seeing Eric sleeping peacefully

He has nightmares and I just want to do anything in my power to take it away.

But why?

Why I’m I so determined to take away those nightmares?

Or is this…

I quickly shake my head not wanting to think of it again.

Id!ot, it’s called love

I scolded my mind , no it’s not

De y it all you want you love this big bag laying in the bed close to you

I looked at Eric,do I really love him?

Maybe I do or maybe not

I found myself leaning closer to him as my lips pressed on his forehead.

I slowly moved back, taking his hand to mine, staring at him.

Maybe, just maybe I really love this guy.

Nyx lothario

I fell asleep while watching Eric but I woke up immediately and I felt him move.

I looked at him and he was already awake staring at me.

“Are you okay?”.

He nodded his head.

He moved to the drawer beside the bed and brought out a key. I just continue to stare at him.

“Your hand,” he said.

I gave him my left hand but he pointed to my right.

I gave him my right hand and to my shock he unlocked the chain that was around my wrist for over 2 weeks.

A wide smile appeared on my face.

“Finally” I screamed happily as I rushed and hugged Eric.

“Thank you” I said and that feeling again in my stomach came. I quickly pulled away when I noticed he shifted uncomfortably.

“Uhh, I’m sorry”

But he didn’t say anything.

I touched his forehead and I was thankful that his temperature had gone down.

“You can go and stroll round the house but don’t step outside”

“Ohh my God really”

He nodded his head again.

I stood up happily looking at him one more time before I rushed out of the room.

The guards standing outside blocked me, staring at my waist as the chain wasn’t there.

But Eric gave them a hand sign as they stepped away.

I rushed downstairs staring at the house in awe. Finally I’ll see how big this house is.

I walked to the sitting room and my jaw dropped.

God, this guy is really rich , so I started to walk around every corner of the house.

That’s when I saw a huge picture in a narrow corridor.

I recognized Mr Williams and a beautiful woman beside him then a little boy smiling widely.

I guess that’s Eric because I’m sure this is the young Eric but he looks so different.

He looks cheerful and happy, I wonder what happened to him that made him like this

I walked to the second floor. That’s when I saw a huge door , ERIC’S OFFICE, written boldly.

I guess this is his office.

I don’t want to be snooping around things that are important to him so I just left.
