CHAPTER 35

Immediately I opened it I saw one of the bodyguards but he was eyeing me from head to toe.

He quickly cleared his throat, making me giggle.

“Boss is waiting for you outside bearing the Lamborghini” I nodded my head before I started to make my way outside.

Immediately I stepped outside and I saw Eric on his phone not yet noticing my presence.

But immediately he looked up and his phone fell from his eyes and his jaw opened wide.

He quickly comported himself before he walked towards me.

Taking my hand before kssing it.

Eric looked handsome in his black blue , his hair neatly combed backwards.

“You look breathtaking”

I couldn’t help but smile.

“Let’s go”

With that we walked towards the car , the driver opening the door For the both of us.

“You’ll be okay I’ll be by your side Nyx”. I nodded my head.

Immediately we reached, there was a red carpet outside with so many paparazzi.

Eric held my hand noticing that I was uncomfortable “you don’t have to say or do anything I’ll be right because you”

He said giving me that beautiful smile of his and I couldn’t help but smile.

Immediately the door opened, Eric came out and the paparazzi went to take pictures of him.

Then he brought his hands and I took it, pulling me out.

So many paparazzi and whispers but finally we got inside the party and I was mesmerized.

“Finally you came” I looked and saw Seth looking handsome but not Eric.

“Whose this hot cake beside you”

“It’s Nyx you id!ot” Eric said. I could see the shock on his face.

“Damn you look beautiful Nyx”.

“Nyx , I know you don’t feel comfortable with you following me to greet some guest so you can take a sit and wait for me”.

I nodded my head and took a seat while Eric and Seth went to greet some guests.

I sat where I won’t be visible to some people.

Enjoying the decorations I felt someone in front of me.

I looked up to see a handsome man who has the same blue eyes as Eric .

“May I have a dance with you?” he said with a warm smile.

I gave him a confused look .

“I forgot to introduce myself, I’m Ryder Clarkson ”

I just nodded my head not knowing who he actually is

“Can I dance with you?”

I looked around to spot Eric or Seth but I couldn’t see any of them.

It would be rude to reject it so I had no other option than to dance with him.

I took his hand as he led me to the floor.

I didn’t know that just a simple harmless dance will make my life more miserable than it is.
