Boss gave me another fifty thousand as promised, plus this month salary, it’s a whole hundred thousand dollars, I’m so happy
He told his driver to drive me so I can go see dad, I put on a long sleeved clothe so they won’t see the scar on my arm
I hugged dad tightly at the sight of him, it’s been two good months
I hugged Helga and she pinched my nose
“You silly cat, you kept us in anticipation” she complained
“Oh Helga, I’m sorry it’s not my fault”
“Well, I missed you”
“I missed you too but I missed daddy more, thanks for taking care of him”
“If I don’t take care of my uncle, then I should be lashed at, it’s my duty, and the shop got a new attendant, though I have to pay her but it’s less tiring
“I understand” I replied and took out the entire hundred thousand
“This is my two months salary, take this” I said but she squeezed her face
“How can you give us the whole money, you have needs too”
“Yes I do but boss takes care of my need apart from my salary”
“Whoa, he’s very nice, just that the overworking”
“It reduced greatly these days” I replied
“Oh really!, That’s great”
“Dad, you need to eat well…
“Take my drugs and sleep well” he interrupted and I smiled
“How many times will you tell me that, it has become my daily watchword” he answered and I hugged him again
They saw me off as the driver took me back home.
? Stanley ?
“Dude, you didn’t even check on Me, that’s unfair” Steve complained as I got to his house
“I’m sorry dude, the company things kept me busy” I replied
“I know, and I’ve been setting up my own medical profession too,my hospital is starting operation next month” he said
“Whoa, that’ll be great, I can’t wait to see this dude dressing like a doctor”
“Doctor Steve Gladstone”
“Dude!”
“I know dude, and what about you and Rihana?”
“What are you talking about?, You know from the start that I don’t like her, I’m just tolerating her and I think I’m gradually loosing my patience”
“Wait, you mean you’ll break her heart?”
“What heart?, I’m not even in her heart and she’s not in mine, so what are you talking about”
“I mean…
“Come off it dude, I’m off” I said curtly and rushed out before he’ll dive deeper
I got home and met Hellen just about to put on the TV
Since I told her about the incident, she’s always extra Caring, she always asks about how I’m doing and I’m always eager to reply, when she smiles, I smile too, and when she’s sad I cheer her up, I can’t help but notice I’m growing fond of her everyday, she told me about her family too and I’m more than glad to listen when she’s talking
“How is your dad?”
“He’s all well and he’s over joyous to see me”
“What of your niece?”
“Helga?, She’s doing well too, she sends her regards, father did too” she answered and smiled again, I smiled too
“You know what Elle, you seemed to have changed”
“Why?”
“You’ve become more cheerful” I replied
“Thanks to you and God, if not for you, I dunno what dad will be going through right now cos my salary did a whole lot of job” she replied
“Oh that?, Well I’m glad it is” I replied and saw her lick her lips, I quickly looked away, the devil is a liar?
“I need you to get some things in the supermarket” I said and she spranged up
“Tell me boss” she replied and I gave her the list
She dashed out to get them

Boss has become so caring and attentive, he listens to me when I talk and I like the faces he makes when talking to me
We do joke and talk about random things, sometimes I feel like he’s more of a friend than my boss, Elvira is a kind person too and her personality is unique
I went to the supermarket to get the things but coming out of the supermarket, I bumped into Richard
“What are you doing here?” I asked surprisingly, I don’t expect to see the son of the great McDonald in a supermarket
“I saw you when you were entering, I thought of trailing you” he answered, searching through my face
“Are you stalking me?” I asked and he gave a smile
“So what if I am?”
“I’d advise you to stop” I replied sternly
“Wait Elle, I’m not joking about what I said the other day”
“About?” I asked
“Loving to be by your side always” he answered
“Are you drunk?, You barely even know me”
“Well, you’re Hellen Roger, Stanley’s personal maid, a beautiful and adorable lady that I like” he said bluntly and I laughed
“You make me laugh Richard, please I have to go now”
“But you can’t until you give me the Answer”
“To what?” I asked
“I love you” he said and my eyes widened
“So you’ve graduated from like to love, gosh, this is crazy” I said and made to enter the car but he held my hand
“Please Elle” he said with pleading eyes
I took my hands off his hand gently and entered the car, the driver drove me home but he kept following till we reached the mansion, he parked his car outside and rushed into the compound
“Richard what are you doing?”
“I just want something to hope on” he replied
“Just leave me please”
“I don’t want to” he said and held my hand again while I try to break free
? Stanley?
I suddenly started hearing arguments outside and I checked through the surveillance camera, it’s Richard, holding unto Elle while she tries to break free
I felt a wave of anger as I rushed out, I yanked her hands off Richard’s grip
“Why did you interfere?” He asked
“This is my house and I have every right to do so, now leave” I said and he left after taking a final look at Elle
