CHAPTER 124

Lush projected a picture of the haunted forest on the wall, and they all turned to it.

Rosario searched the lab with his eyes for any sign of Mary, but she’s not there, he returned his eyes to the wall.

“This is just an introduction to the exterior of the forest, for mission Gum” Pierce said, taking time to introduce them to the things they should get familiar with.

Rosario started sweating so much despite the fact that the evening is chilly, his eyes became redder, and his temperature got higher.

“The bridge that leads to the forest is weak” Lush said, showing a picture of the bridge.

The weakness could he perceived even from the picture.

“Fk!, I’m so sure that not everyone is coming out alive” Nightingale said.

“Use your sense at times, I know it’s hard but try” Pandora replied, and Nightingale gave her the middle finger.

“What if the Imperium are faster?” Bullet asked.

“They need our technology to open the forest door before they enter, so they can’t move till we do” Lush replied.

“That’ll be all for now, a circle meeting will happen once godfather arrives, then the interior will be available” Pierce said, putting off the projector.

“Preet’s location kept switching at the speed of light, no stable coordinate yet”

“I got to know that there are two Preets” Clyde said, and everyone faced him.

“And they have same faces, one is his daughter, and he kidnapped the other one, doppelganger I think” he continued.

“Get to work Lush and Pierce, find how true it is” Romanio ordered, and Rosario left the lab immediately.

Romanio rushed after him and caught up in the corridor.

“Rosa get yourself treated” he said.

“I’ll be fine after some rest, you know that more than anyone” Rosario replied.

“But it’ll be faster with some treatment, get IV from Lawrence” Romanio insisted.

“I’m not interested” Rosario said.

“And this fking stubborness is what I hate about you!” Romanio yelled.

“Lower your voice” Rosario patted him and started walking away.

“That as$hole” Romanio muttered.

Mary quickly hid when she saw Rosario coming to his mansion.

She has actually been waiting in front of it since he left for the lab.

She has been worried since he left the kitchen in the morning, he doesn’t look like he’s a bit fine.

She was determined to swallow her ego and face him, but now that she saw him, she got scared.

She was still hiding when Rosario entered the mansion, so she came out and rushed away from the place.

When she was left with a bit of distance to her apartment, she slowed down.

“Is he unwell?, Gosh….I shouldn’t have played the prank in the morning, that was cheap” she muttered as she walked.

“Sx toy” Nightingale’s voice made her look ahead.

She’s with Bullet.
