THE MISTRESS’ DAUGHTER : CHAPTER 1 – 10

(A STUDENT AT NIGHTSHADE WONDERLAND)

Kaiden’s eyes blazed with anger as he yelled after Maledicta.

“Hey, hey, hey, hey girl! You can’t bring me to this strange place without my permission and suddenly tell me it’s my new home!” He yelled.

But Maledicta didn’t even flinch. She just kept walking, her long white hair swaying behind her.

Kaiden’s frustration boiled over, and he grabbed her arm, spinning her around to face him.

“You didn’t even let me know the type of place this was,” he yelled. “What if it’s dangerous?”

Maledicta’s eyes flashed with anger, and she jerked her arm free.

“Don’t ever touch me again,” she said coldly, her voice dripping with venom.

Kaiden’s eyes widened as he realized his mistake. He took a step back, his hands raised in a placating gesture.

“Sorry, I did;n’t mean to—”

But Maledicta was already walking away, leaving Kaiden standing alone in the middle of the courtyard.

That’s when Kaiden finally noticed the pool of people staring at him. They were all dressed in strange, elaborate clothing, and their eyes seemed to be boring into his soul.

“Is he a human?” one of them asked, their voice full of curiosity.

“I don’t know, I haven’t seen one before,” another one replied. “I just read about them.”

“He looks strange, though,” a third one added, their eyes narrowing as they glared at Kaiden.

Kaiden stood frozen, unsure of what to do. They all seemed to be mad at him, and he had no idea why.

He took a deep breath and decided to walk around, trying to get a feel for the place. As he strolled through the courtyard, he noticed that everyone seemed to be staring at him.

He saw a girl who suddenly vanished into thin air, and another person who was flying through the air with ease. Kaiden’s eyes widened as he realized that these people were not normal.

They were all…magical.

Kaiden’s mind reeled as he tried to process what he was seeing. He had always thought of himself as a rational person, but this place was challenging everything he thought he knew.

As he walked, Kaiden noticed that the buildings around him seemed to be shifting and changing. The walls seemed to be made of a strange, glowing material, and the windows seemed to be staring back at him like empty eyes.

Kaiden’s skin crawled as he realized that he was completely out of his depth. He had no idea what this place was, or what its inhabitants wanted from him.

All he knew was that he wanted to get out of there as fast as he could.

But as he turned to leave, Kaiden realized that he had no idea where he was going. The courtyard seemed to be shifting and changing around him, and he couldn’t see any exits.

He was trapped.

And then, Kaiden heard a voice behind him.

“Welcome to Nightshade Wonderland,” it said.

“You’re going to be here for a while.” the voice added. He look around but found nothing, he was a little terrified but he didn’t even know who to approach among the strange people.
