THE MISTRESS’ DAUGHTER : CHAPTER 11 – 20
The battle began, and Kaiden quickly realized that he was no match for the boy. The boy used all sorts of tricks and techniques, leaving Kaiden stumbling to keep up.
Within minutes, Kaiden was bleeding from the nose and mouth, his face battered and bruised.
“Cassius, stop this fight! You know he’s weak.” Lilith quickly said.
But Cassius just shook his head. “He has to be strong.”
“He’s just human, Cassius. You can’t expect him to keep up with us.” Belladonna speak up.
“Let him learn.” Cassius snapped.
The students watched in pity as the boy continued to beat Kaiden.
Just when it seemed like the boy was about to deliver the final blow, he suddenly flew backward, his back hitting the wall with a thud.
Benedicta stormed over, “I can’t believe you’re trying to get him killed.” She said angrily.
She rushed over to Kaiden, helping him to his feet. “Come on, I’ll take you somewhere safe.” He said.
And with that, she led Kaiden away, leaving the other students staring after them.

Benedicta’s hands were soft and gentle as she cupped Kaiden’s cheeks, her eyes closing as if in concentration. Kaiden watched her curiously, wondering what she was up to.
At first, he felt a strange tingling sensation, like pins and needles, but it quickly gave way to a warm, soothing feeling that seemed to spread throughout his face. Kaiden’s eyes widened in surprise as he realized that the pain from his wounds was gone.
He pulled away from Benedicta’s grasp, his hands flying to his face to explore the skin. It was smooth and unblemished, with no sign of the cuts and bruises that had marred it just moments before.
“How did you do that?” Kaiden asked, his voice full of wonder.
Benedicta smiled, her eyes opening to regard him with a warm, gentle gaze. “It’s one of the things I can do,” she said, her voice soft and melodious.
Kaiden’s eyes widened in amazement. “Wow, you’re impressive,” he exclaimed.
Benedicta’s smile grew wider, “I’m Benedicta,”Maledicta’s twin sister.” She said.
“I know,Someone told me.” Kaiden smile.
Benedicta’s smile faltered for a moment, before she regained her composure.
“Oh, I didn’t know, I am sorry for how he treated you” she said.
“It’s okay, he is just trying to help” Kaiden said.
“But he should have take it easy” she whispered.
Kaiden’s eyes locked onto hers, “Didn’t you hate me?” he asked.
“I learned that everyone here does.” He added.
Benedicta’s smile was tinged with sadness. “Let’s just say I do…or at least, I did,” she said.
“Until I saw you, and then I told myself, what happened wasn’t your fault.” She added.
