THE MISTRESS’ DAUGHTER : CHAPTER 131 – 140
Belladonna moved closer into his body, and Cassius hugged her immediately, sniffing her neck.
“I am glad to have someone like you as a mate,” he said, his voice filled with emotion.
“I can’t wait to mark you and make you mine,” he growled into her ear, making Belladonna’s heart skip a beat.
She pushed him away, laughing.
“Pervert,” she snapped, and started leaving.
Cassius ran after her, his heart leaping in joy. He knew that he still had a long way to go, but he was willing to do anything to make things right between them.
As they walked, Cassius couldn’t help but feel grateful. He had almost lost Belladonna, but he had managed to win her back. And he was determined to never let her go again.
He swept her into his arm and turn around with a bright smile.
“What are you doing?” She gasp.
“Showing everyone that you belong to me” he said and bite her neck again. She blush and rest her head on his chest as they walk around the garden.
“Aren’t you tired?” She asked after some minutes.
“I will never be tired with you mate” Cass growl.

Ryder caught up with Arachne as they walked through the corridor.
“Hey,” he said, falling into step beside her.
Arachne didn’t say anything, just smiled gently. Ryder noticed that she seemed a little subdued, and his concern grew.
“What’s wrong?” he asked, his voice laced with worry.
Arachne hesitated, her eyes dropping to the floor. “I just couldn’t stop thinking,” she muttered. “What if we return to the town, will you ever consider me?”
Ryder’s expression softened. “What are you talking about?” he asked. “You are my future wife.”
Arachne’s eyes lifted, and Ryder saw a hint of sadness in them.
“But you don’t like me,” she said. “I am okay if we break the engagement. I don’t want you to force yourself into something you don’t like.”
Ryder’s face lit up with surprise. “Says who?” he asked. “I like the fact that you are my future wife.”
A bright smile spread across Arachne’s face, and Ryder’s heart swelled with emotion. He loved seeing her happy.
“Really?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Ryder nodded. “Of course,” he said. “So stop feeling insecure and protect yourself in here.”
Arachne’s smile grew wider, and she threw her arms around Ryder. He parted her back, holding her close.
“I have something to give you,” she said, pulling back.
Ryder watched as Arachne removed a beautiful butterfly design golden bracelet from her wrist. She handed it to him, and Ryder’s eyes widened in surprise.
“My sister gave this to me the last time we met before her death,” Arachne explained. “She said it’s going to protect me, and I think it really worked.”
Ryder’s eyes met Arachne’s, and he saw the sincerity in them. “Why will you give me something special like that?” he asked.
Arachne smiled. “Because you are also special to me.”
“Thank you,” he muttered, his voice filled with emotion.
Arachne smiled and pointed to Ryder’s arm. “Wear it,” she said.
Ryder smiled and put on the bracelet. It felt strange but also comforting.
“It looks so good on you,” Arachne said, her eyes shining with happiness.
“I have something to show others, l think you should be there too.” He said.
Arachne’s eyes sparkled with curiosity. “What is it?” she asked.
Ryder smiled. “You’ll see,” he said, his eyes glinting with mischief.
Together, they left the corridor.
