“Stupid alarm”She cussed groaning from the bed.
“Karla will you get your ass up the bus is leaving soon”Her mom yelled from the kitchen where she is busy packing her takeout food.
“Yes mom”She replied pushing the duvet up from her body and the first thing she is rolling up the window just to scream “Good morning it camp day!!”she screamed and Leo arched is brows from the window.
“Stop been psychic Love”he replied from the other end and she scoff.
There window is facing each other and it such an advantage to them and they get to sneak into each other room anytime they missed each other, isn’t that amazing?.
“We will see about it”She frown and shut the window and head downstairs in just shorts and a singlet she had wore to bed.
“Good morning Mom”She greet and kss little brother on his head before tousling it.
“I hate you”Alex cussed feeling so annoyed.
“I hate you too”Karla blew him a kss and retrieve the flask her mom was holding to the table.
“Why aren’t you dressed yet?”her mom frown with her hands akimbo.
“I will mom! the bus isn’t even her yet”She rolled her eye at her mom.
“You dare not do that to me again”she gave her a warning and enter the kitchen back leaving Karla and Alex to argue as usual.
“Mom tell Karla to find a a work only a jobless grown up girl will wake up to tousle a kid hair”he shouted.
“Karla!”her mom warned.
“Okay, fine! atleast I am glad he accepts he is still a kid”
“That not funny Karla be warned”her mom said and drop the packed lunch she had prepared for her daughter trip on the table.
“Mom your toast are always the best”She compliment her mom.
“Thanks but I don’t think you will be taking your bathe before leaving if you don’t go now”
“Easy on me mom”She took the last bite of her toast and ran upstairs.
“Wash those hair they stink”Her Mom screamed and that was actually funny to Alex because he laughed.
“Mom!”She yelled and slam her room door angrily.
After taking a fresh nice bathe, she changed into a black trouser and a big orange T-shirt. Trying to impress Leo look good on you, she thought smiling at herself in the mirror.
She pick sneakers and grab her luggage for the camp. It an organized camp by the school and they will be spending three days there sounds like fun to her.
“Karla the bus is here”her mom screamed.
“Holy crap!!”She stride out of the room forgetting to back her hair. Her mom actually noticed the changes in her dressing but choose not to talk because she had always wish her daughter love fashion.
Everyone jaws were down when they noticed the length of her hair immediately she walked out with her mom beside me.
“I don’t want to freak out but why are they all staring at me”
“Sorry to say this but you didn’t pack your ha…..”her mother haven’t even concluded her speech before she pack her up.
“Why didn’t you tell me?”She frown.
“Because you look extremely beautiful”
“Mom_”
“Hey babe”Leo approach her and she hug him instantly and he use the opportunity to remove the hair band and her hair fail free.
“What was that for?”
“You look amazingly beautiful like this”he said and I smile.
“Like seriously? I just asks you to leave it like that and you refuse but Leo said the same thing and you accept?”her mom complained and she scoff.
“Bye mom”She wave at her and board the bus and the first person she sight is Hannah and Zayn sitting beside each other and they both wave at her. Things stop been awkward between them but they choose to remain friends since Zayn still hasn’t gotten over his feelings for Karla and won’t want to hurt Hannah.
Leo sit beside Karla and the school driver put their luggages into the school booth and they drive off to the next house which is Lisa, the head of the pink girls and straight to camp!!.
“Wow I am so excited about this”Karla readjust herself.
“I hope it turns out to be good”Bryan muttered .
“Me too”she replied and rest her head on his shoulder and he support it with her hand so she can rest comfortably.
Everyone is now complete in the bus and they did series of all fun thing, singing and couples were busy eating each other faces but Zayn and Hannah won’t stop talking as usual. It kinda runs in their blood especially when they talk about novels they have both read before.
But little Karla slept throughout the journey taking Leo by surprise because she didn’t wake up even with the loud noise coming from the bus. The bus enter a rough round and started making uncomfortable movement that actually affected the student especially Karla.
“Are we there?”She asked Leo yawning and looking around.
“No”he replied trying not to laugh at how grumpy her voice sounds just now.
“Are we going to h’ll?”She seems to angry because she was woke up thinking they got to the place but suddenly the driver halted and everyone screamed.
“What the h’ll is that?”a student at the front yelled and everyone freaked out.
“Omg!! it a m©nster”another student cried and those at the back start to panic.
“That isn’t funny Fred!”he driver said and they all sigh in relief.
“I am sorry to say this but the bus can’t get to that point so you all have to work out from here and follow my lead”he announced and everyone start to mumbled things.
“Student!!”the driver called.
“It not far away from here so put your mind at rest”He assured and unlock the door.
Students started getting down. Leo and Karla exchange glance before they alight too and went to get their luggage.
“This is not fun”Karla complained.
“It fine baby”Leo kiss her hair and they both walk together into the forest where their camp must have been set up.
