KYROS’ COMPANY, CEO’S OFFICE*
Dilara opened the door gently and Kyros looked up from his seat.
“Sorry sir” She bowed.
“What’s the problem?” Kyros asked.
“There’s a guest sir, Mr Romano” Dilara said.
Kyros scoffed.
“Let him in” He said.
Dilara walked out of the office and a minute later, Mr Romano walked in.
“I’m sorry for coming unannounced Duke” He bowed.
Kyros rolled his eyes and got up from his seat.
“Romano” he called.
“Sir”
Kyros smiled dryly.
“I found out last night, my wife is your daughter, why?” He asked.
Mr Romano said nothing, or more like he found no words.
Kyros sat down on one of the couches at the center of the large office and crossed his legs.
“Sit down, you are my in law anyway”
Mr Romano sat down nervously.
“I believe you are here for something, To pay back my money? Of course not, I don’t think so” Kyros shook his head.
“Is that why you gave off your daughter to me without my knowledge? You sold her to my mother right?” He asked,now with a more serious and cold face.
“Diora…is my last daughter” Romano stuttered.
“I see, in other word, a sacrifice. I’m sure you know about the true rumors, you don’t mind if she disappears too” Kyros said.
Romano looked up.
“You can do whatever you want with her” He said.
Kyros smiled.
“So, you really think your last daughter is enough? Do you know how much you owe me? I changed and turned your life around Romano, I can take everything back within a minute and you return to where you belong, I made you.
So who the fuck do you think you are to think your last daughter is enough to pay back everything!!” Kyros growled angrily.
Romano fell on his knees.
“Please, forgive me, I’m really….”
“You did that because you know you can never pay back” Kyros muttered.
“I will pay with something else, I can’t return all that money, I will become a poor man again, please tell me whatever you want” Romano pleaded.
Kyros chuckled and stood up, he slides his hands into his pockets.
“What should I ask for? Should I ask you and your whole family to become servants in my castle?”
“No please!! Not that!!” Romano held his shoes.
“Get off this second” Kyros said calmly and Romano quickly moved away.
“You should know before you made your decision Romano, I don’t have such humane feelings. I will get back what I gave you,in my own ways…ways you wouldn’t expect, at all” He smirked.
Romano was almost shaking on the floor where he still knelt.
“Leave” Kyros deep voice came again.
Romano stood up and without allowing him repeat himself, he ran out of the office.
Kyros returned to his desk and two messages came on his phone at the same time, he opened Diora’s own first.
Diora: There’s a party at school tonight, it’s not something I can miss so please, just for tonight can you shift my curfew to 10pm? The party ends by 11pm, but I promise to be home before 10pm, Martins is going to be here with me, I will be careful,promise. Thank You.
Kyros opened the second message, just by looking at it, he knew who it was.
Maliah: Hi Duke, I was wondering if I can see you tonight? Please? I won’t disturb you too much, I just want to spend time with you.
Kyros scoffed, stared at the message for some minutes,then sent a reply before dropping his phone.
