Chapter 12
Jason’s POV
I could see a look of innocence on Angela’s face, but Sam and Dan had convinced me so hard that she must have something to do with the enemy.
“Jason! Is anything the matter?” She asked.
“How did the leader of those enemy get to know your name? No, tell me how? did you tell him before?” Sam asked.
“No…I didn’t know how he get to know sincerely.” Angela replied.
“See a lier, boss, see a lier, you see why you need to fire this pregnant woman.” Sam said.
I breathed out heavily. “Angela, Sam believed you are a spy amidst us and that you been with us will only cause me more harm than good.” I said.
She only opened her mouth like someone that wanted to speak but she closed it back.
“Come to think of it, why will the man deliver the letter to you? Why did he refuse to fight you? I’m so sorry Angela but I need to let you go. ”
Angela stood like someone confused.
“I tell you the truth, I didn’t know that man from anywhere, I saved you and you still want to fire me?” She asked.
“No, you didn’t save him, I know your plan. Those guys allow you to beat them so you can feel like you save boss. We know the card you played.” Sam said.
Angela lowered her head and raised it up after few seconds.
“What about the baby?” She asked.
“When you deliver, you can reach out to me. ” I said and Angela sighed. Her face wasn’t expressing any emotions.
She just walked out. I followed behind and watch her walk out of the house.
I feel like calling her back and telling her not to go but I can’t. I should trust those my father sent to protect me than anyone.
I really wish she stays here with me, I wonder where she will go to stay at a time like this.
After she had faded out of sight, I walked sadly to my room.
