[HOSPITAL]
The steady beep of the machine and the soft hiss of the oxygen tank filled the ward as a young nurse jot down the situation of the woman laying on the best.
The machine monitored every heartbeat and breath of the woman as her chest heaves slowly.
The nurse sighed and paused for a moment to stare at the woman. The doctor said she would be waking up soon but it has been a month already. She slowly turned to leave but halt when she heard a soft moan.
With wide eyes her head snapped back to the woman.
The woman’s eyes lid shook and slowly opened. The nurse gasped, the book in her hand fell. She dashed out of the ward to inform the doctor.
After more than six years, she finally woke up.
“Cassius,” the woman mumbled.

UNDER HIS INFLUENCE : CHAPTER 71 – 80
Daniel got weak on the knee. Sweat cascaded down his face as he watched Cassius stood before him.
Cassius faced the audience and a shocking news left his lips.
“Tatiana Karen is signed with the Kings company”
What the heck!…
Did I just hear the kings?!…
Gawd! I’m about to faint. Someone hold me!…
Fuck! This is a huge shock! How did she do it?!…
The media exploded with the news. Murmurs filled the air.
Signed with the King company?! Jemima felt the world around her crashing down. Here she was thinking she could made many companies not allow Tatiana in using her connection.
But Tatiana was already signed into a company many times better than hers.
Daniel broke into cold sweat. He had just made a fool of himself. Mr. King won’t go easy on him.
“This is a misunderstanding.. Mr. King… This is…”
“A misunderstanding?” Cassius raised a brow. His voice laced with anger and power that made Daniel shrink further.
Jemima looked side by side and saw no one watching. Now is the best time to run but his assistant muttered.
“His voice” Wiley eyes remained fixed on Cassius.
Jemima frowned. “What do you mean?”
“Mr. King has the same voice as the man in Tatiana’s room” Wiley’s eyes widened the more as he trembled so bad.
“Stop speaking nonsense” Jemima got shocked but didn’t want to believe. Mr. King can’t be Tatiana’s secret lover right?
Wait! Their dress and rings looked familiar. Could Wiley be right? She definitely need to leave.
Jemima hadn’t taken a step when Cassius’s voice rang out.
“And where did you think you are going Jemima Robert? Aren’t you going hear your fate? Or you prefer to find out later on the street?”
Fate?
Jemima eyes teared up. She quickly rushed before Cassius and knelt.
“They are all lying against me. The video was fake. I didn’t–”
“Ciara had come to submit the evidence of you bullying other artists even before this program started. Tatiana helped you in past and yet you scheme against her” Cassius sighed. There’s no need on wasting his energy on these bastard.
“Here’s my decision. Fools like you two doesn’t deserve a bit of fame. Daniel would no longer be the CEO of Crystal company, if he does then I’ll withdraw my support from the company. For trying to abduct an artist… You should be punished by the law”
Several cops in disguise stepped forward and handcuffed Daniel.
“What the…”
“You’re under arrest Mr. Daniel” They dragged him.
Jemima lips parted, sweat filled her body as she trembled. The jail.. oh no. She quickly faced Tatiana.
“Tatiana please. I’m sorry alright. Please just forgive me and help me beg him. Help me! I promise to good, help” she begged on her knee.
Tatiana didn’t reply.
“You want me to apologize to your assistant. I’ll do it!” Jemima faced Jolene, she shifted her knees so she face her well.
“Jolene I’m sorry for hitting you. I’m sorry for scheming against you. I’m really sorry. Please talk to Tatiana.. I don’t want to end up in jail! You’re good person” Jemima shook her head and tried to touch Jolene’s shoes, but Jolene shifted back before she could reach her.
“If those bloody situation wasn’t made up and was real. You wouldn’t have cared Jemima. Deep down you wanted me dead. Even if I want to save wish I don’t… It’s out of my reach”
Jemima clinched her jaw. “You are insane! Do you know the how hard it is to kneel before you!”
“You tried to bribe the judge just because of this award” Tatiana cut in. “Judge Alex revealed everything. You’re screwed Jemima”
Jemima swallowed hard and her eyes went to Cassius. She is so screwed. There’s no way out.
Cassius’s voice sounded across the hall. “Your actions, Jemima, have shown a blatant disregard for the law and the well-being of others. You have attempted to bribe a judge, schemed against fellow artists, and physically harmed others. I hereby strip you of your nomination and ban you from participating in any future events affiliated with Crystal Company and every other company. You will face the full force of the law for your crimes.”
Cassius’s words echoed through the hall, leaving no doubt about Jemima’s fate. The room fell silent, with all eyes on Jemima as she slumped to the ground, defeated.
Cassius continued. “Jemima Robert name is paint black in the entire entertainment industry. Anyone who choose to work with her in the future will be daring me.”
Her name was painted black. All her effort all wasted.
Tatiana had a satisfying look as she watched Jemima trembling on the floor. She knew what would come next. Jemima was about to show her true color.
Just as Tatiana had thought, Jemima swiftly grabbed the knife on the table and charged towards Tatiana.
“You bitch!!!” She exclaimed with the aim of stabbing Tatiana but a kick landed on her stomach. A strong arm pulled her up and hand got handcuffed.
“This isn’t over Tatiana! I’ll come for you!” Jemima roared and cried as they dragged her out.
Tatiana saw the untamed anger in Cassius’s eyes as he gave the host a small nod to continue with the program.
Tatiana and Jolene was led back to their seat. The tension in the room was evident. Jemima and Daniel issues was dragged online.
Ciara planned to drop more after the event.
With Jemima gone, Tatiana nerves eased a bit.
The host cleared her throat. Her hand was a bit shaky but she smiled and composed herself.
“That was a bit intense. Well congratulations Tatiana” The host greeted her and Tatiana smiled in return.
“Moving onto the best acting award. I know most of you have been anticipating this moment. I must say, this year was really competitive. The nominees are incredible, however we only have one winner… Which is…”
The hall turned silent, everyone sucked in their breath. Many had been anticipating this award the most, because there was so much competitors!
Tatiana wasn’t really bothered. A lot of movies made a hit this year. Even though she didn’t doubt her talent but getting this award might be like her running faster than her shadow.
She expected disappointment.
But still her heart raced to know who it was. Her eyes met with Cassius and the man gave her an assuring smile.
The host voice echoed through the hall.
“Tatiana Karen!”
Like a lighten, Tatiana froze like a status. Did she just hear her name?
“Yesss!!!!” Jolene jumped from her seat. Her eyes widened like it might pop out from its socket soon.
Indigo stood and began to clapped. “You did it Tatiana!”
Tatiana felt her eyes tearing up. She won the best acting award?! How?!
“Tatiana Karen has the highest vote this year. Her movie ‘Rise of Ruby’ had surprisingly hit a crazy record”
Felix’s voice erupted from behind.
“Oh oh oh! Yes Tatiana! I’m proud of you friend”
Cassius joined the crowd to clap, a small smile on his.
Tatiana slowly stood and claimed the stage. Her gaze faced the people in the hall. It felt like a dream. She achieved this in just months.
She let out a short laugh when the host congratulated her. It was overwhelming.
“I.. uhmmm” Tatiana cleared her throat when her voice sounded croaked. “I never expected this and I just want to say…”
Tatiana paused when a thought hit her.
Issabella.
The same entertainment world tear her sister down without knowing what really happened to her. She was about to say ‘Thank you’ but it didn’t come out. She didn’t know why the thought of her sister dive in and her heart clinched for it.
“I’ll always do my best” she nodded and they all clapped again.
Tatiana bowed to the host and stepped down with the award to her seat.
“Dylan’s would be thrilled to see this” Jolene took the award and stared at it in awe.
Tatiana looked back at Cassius but didn’t find him on seat.
She looked around and didn’t find any sign of him. Her phone suddenly beeped. A message from him.
~My mother is awake~
Tatiana gasped.

“How long was I in coma?” Aurora asked Hudson. Hudson got the information first and got here before informing Cassius.
“Almost seven years auntie” Hudson responded, his eyes teary. Joy coursing every part of his system.
Though Aurora looked weak and lean. It seems she was forcing herself to stay awake because of Cassius.
“He’ll be here soon” Hudson said and just after his word, fast footsteps could heard.
Cassius appeared by the entrance. His hair a bit messy, his breath ragged as his eyes widened spotting her.
“Cash. My boy” Aurora called, her eyes crinkling one side as she smiled.
“Mom” Cassius sighed in relief. He approached her hoping it wasn’t a dream. He knelt before her and her hand reached for his face.
“My king.. you’ve grown so well” she muttered and he immediately hugged her. Not too tight because of her situation.
“Thank you mom. Thank you for surviving” he whispered. Tears welled up his eyes.
“I am the strongest woman remember. That’s what’s you use to call me” she said and he broke the hug to look at her.
“Do you feel hurt anywhere?” He asked scrutinizing her.
“I only feel hurt in my heart for making you worry”
“It’s not your fault. I’m sorry I couldn’t protect you” he said.
“I can’t believe seven years felt like yesterday. How’s Indigo and others?”
“They are fine. They’ll later. You need to rest” Cassius said and she nodded.
“I feel sleepy” she touched his face again. “I’m glad to see you again My king”
The surname ‘King’ was given by her. Cassius never met his father, he doesn’t know his name and he doesn’t care about it. His mother meant a lot to him.

Tatiana pressed her lips into thin line as she stared at the award before her. Two great news at the same day.
Cassius’s mother was awake. Indigo had cried in joy when she heard the news of Aurora. Though no one can visit her yet until tomorrow. She needed rest.
Tatiana felt a bit nervous and happy at the same time. She was about to meet her mother in-law. Not alone but with a son.
Jolene and Dylan was busy checking out the news about Tatiana.
“Mom, you’re awesome!” Dylan exclaimed.
“Thank you sweetheart” Tatiana chuckled. She stood. “Time for bed”
Jolene stood. “I have to go little lion. I’ll be back tomorrow” she ruffled the Dylan’s hair and kisses his cheek.

On the next morning, Tatiana drove to the hospital. Her heart rilling if Cassius’s mother would like her or not.
“She is jovial woman. Of course she would like you” Indigo said as they both stepped into the elevator with Dylan and Jolene.
“Uhm.. what about Mr. Jaxon?” Jolene asked.
“He is still busy abroad, but he is returning today since auntie is awake” Indigo replied.
Aurora wanted Indigo to be Cassius’s bride. How would she feel if she find out the woman Cassius married was the daughter of the Wallington who had hurt her.
‘You’re not a Wallington’ Cassius’s voice rang in her head.
The door opened and Tatiana eyes met with the Middle aged woman eating. Cassius was accompanying her.
Her eyes widened spotting Indigo. “My daughter!”
“Auntie!” Indigo rushed to hug her gently. “I’m so happy you made it. Gosh I was so worried”
“Did you forget who I am?” The woman raised a brow.
“The strangest woman in the world” they both chorused and chuckled.
“Cassius and I were discussing. He said he is married. I’m so happy for you Indigo…”
“Mom, it’s not her” Cassius corrected gently, his eyes locked with Tatiana, who stood frozen. He stride towards her and took her hand. Cassius winked at Dylan and took them both to Aurora.
“This is my wife Tatiana King and my son Dylan King” Cassius’s introduced and Aurora mouth and eyes remain wide opened.
Aurora’s eyes darted from Cassius, Tatiana and Dylan. Her expression mixed with confusion, shock and delight.
“Oh dear heavens!” She exclaimed. “You have a wife and a son!”
Her eyes settled on Tatiana. “A beautiful wife” then on Dylan she exclaimed. “I have a grandson. Come here sweetie”
Dylan left Tatiana and walked towards Aurora. She held his round cheek.
“He is so adorable. Gosh and he looked so much like you. Cash”
“Hello. I’m Dylan and I’m cute” Dylan introduced and Aurora burst into laughter.
Dylan said that on purpose. He remembered Tatiana’s words this morning. ‘You’re about to meet you grandmother. Make her smile’
Aurora fell so in love with Dylan. She asked Tatiana to come closer too and hugged her.
They all chatted happily. Indigo was right, Aurora was jovial that was why she was loved.
After several hours if staying with Aurora, Tatiana ND others left.
“You love her so much. She is a beauty” Aurora said.
“Hm.. I do”
Aurora eyes saddened a little. “She’s a Wallington”
Cassius modded, not surprised his mother knew. “Not anymore. She’s not like them”
“Yes. Now tell me how you both met” Aurora smiled. “Give me every details”
“Don’t tease me mom”

Tatiana stepped down from the mansion and found a strange girl all in tattered cloth at the gate. She was trying to get in both guards were stopping her.
“You don’t understand, I need to see her! Do you know how hard it was to get her. Let me fucking in!” The young girl roared trying to go in but the guards held him back.
“Please just a moment!” She cried out.
“Is everything alright?”
The girl’s head snapped towards Tatiana and her eyes flashed in anger.
“You!” She roared and marched towards her. The guards held her.
“You’re monster Tatiana! You’re fucking heartless!” The girl yelled.
Tatiana exhaled. A crazy fan? She began to take Dylan inside.
“Here you are fighting your way to fame while she suffered Tatiana! She had been waiting for you! Hey!”
Tatiana sighed when she was in completely. Though her mind lingered on her.
After putting Dylan to sleep Cassius returned home and when Dylan had fallen asleep. Tatiana couldn’t help but frowned noticing how Cassius tried to hide his worried look.
“Is everything alright?” Tatiana asked.
“Everything is fine” he whispered and gently placed her head on his chest.
When Tatiana fell asleep, Cassius gently climbed down the bed. He took his phone and headed to his study room.
Taking a deep breath he recalled his mother’s word.
‘Cash. You can’t be with her, she’s a Wallington. Even if I agree, your grandfather won’t. The human trafficking chain, deals with marriage too. The Wallingtons family are involved and our family can not be into such a disgusting thing. They’ll drag you in their crazy chain since you are married to his daughter. The only way to be with her is to destroy the human trafficking chain. I’ll talk to your grandfather. Do whatever he says’
Cassius sighed and called his grandfather. The old man picked up almost immediately and his voice sounded.
“Your mother talked to me Cassius. Divorce her”
