“Wow finally, I am getting tired of the smell” Adelaide said, she was happy that she was getting discharged today, she has really missed the mansion. All the family were there to escort her except Mrs Everest, her stuff was packed and they followed behind her , people were even looking at them.
“What do you want me to buy for you?” Noah asked Adelaide.
“Nothing,I am okay for now” she said and pouted cutely, this made everyone laugh.
“Why are you guys laughing, I am ugly now? I am getting fat right?” She asked sadly.
“No, we are laughing because you are so cute” Noah said and Adelaide blushed, Mr Everest was watching everything with a smile, this is how his wife was behaving when she was pregnant with Noah too, he sighs at the memory, he will soon join her.
Dalton ‘s parents arrive which shocks him and Brielle chases, they don’t know what they are doing at the hospital, they were still curious when Mrs Everest showed up.
“No one will go out of the hospital until I find out who my daughter is” she said, she has been trying to keep it in after finding Delaney is not her daughter but she can’t do it anymore, she has to know her real daughter.
“What are you talking about?” Mr Everest asked.
“This girl is not my daughter” Mrs Everest said while pointing to Delaney, she doesn’t even have the affection she always has on her face anymore.
“I have been looking for my real daughter for years, someone informed me that one of the Everest daughters is mine and I am here to confirm it,” Dalton’s mum said. Dalton and Brielle exchange confused glances, everything that is going on wasn’t making any sense and that feeling is annoying.
“I called them for a DNA test, we are going to do it in the presence of everyone here” Mrs Everest said. They all settle down as the two girls’ blood was collected to do the test, they are still looking confused and Delaney is just hoping that everything will be a dream.

Autumn saw Mr Williams and quickly stood up, she turned to Fransisco who was looking confused.
“He is my friend, I just want to say Hi, I will be back soon” she said, Francisco nodded and watched as she ran to meet up with the man.
“Who is that?” Noah asked curiously.
“He is her friend, she was so happy that I am almost jealous,” Francisco scoffed.

“Miss Autumn” Mr Williams called the moment he saw her.
“I actually saw you passing so I wanted to say hello” she said.
“Thank you so much, so is your sister in law. You tell me she is not fine the last time” Mr Williams asked.
“She is okay, she has been discharged already ” she said.
“That is so good to hear, you are pretty by the way, I like your hair, it’s just like mine” he said.
“I will get going, I don’t want to disturb you now, see you later” Autumn said and left.
“You seem to like her,” Mr Williams’ bodyguard said.
“I did it because she will be around my kid’s age” he said with a smile as they entered the doctor’s office.

“So this are the record that will have, you have to go through it, if you see the woman you are looking then inform me” the doctor said and push the files to him, he started checking silently but his heart was beating loudly, he his finally going to see the love of his life and she actually have a kid, their kid, he knows she won’t marry any man except him.
“I have finally found her now, she is Diana Sabra” Mr Williams said with a big smile, he was so happy, the doctor collected the files and went through her info.
“Oh I know her, she actually delivered a baby girl eighteen years ago” the doctor said.
“A baby girl?” Mr Williams asked with a smile, he can feel his heart swollen with joy.
“Yeah, she was so happy about it but too bad, that has to happen” the doctor said.
“What happened?” Mr Williams asked, the smile slowly disappearing from his face.
“She died, a few minutes after giving birth to her, she was happy while looking at the baby, she didn’t come with anyone to the hospital, she didn’t come with any phone or means of contact, we can’t reach any of her family” the doctor said.
“It was my fault, I shouldn’t have abandoned her, doctor please where is my daughter?” He asked as tears escaped his eyes.
“She was to be taken to the orphanage then but she was lucky and got adopted by the most prestigious family in the country, she is a lucky girl” the doctor said.
“Where is my daughter? I really need to see her now and beg for forgiveness. I hope she forgives me,” Mr Williams said.
“I can’t disclose that now, I need to talk to the father, if he allows you then you can meet her” the doctor said.
“Thank you doctor, I can’t wait to meet my daughter ” Mr Williams said and sigh, he left with heavy heart, he was almost at the verge of tears but pull himself together because of his fans that are in the hospital, Autumn wave at him but he just walk past without sparing her a glance.
“His mood is down. I hope he is okay” Autumn thought worriedly.

Finally the test came out and truly Delaney’s blood doesn’t match with the Everests, it was Brielle. Delaney’s blood match with Dalton’s parents, everyone was looking at the test in shock.
“How did this happen?” Mr Everest asked in confusion.
“I found out after I did some tests privately,” Mrs Everest said.
“Why did you do the test privately?” Mr Everest asked. He wasn’t happy with his wife’s behaviour.
“Because I just suspected it. She didn’t have any of the Everests gene” Mrs Everest said.
“Mum, What are you saying?” Delaney asked in shock.
“Don’t call me that, the test already shows that you are not my daughter” Mrs Everest snapped, Brielle was still looking confused, she didn’t even know how to feel about the news, everything was complicated.
“My daughter, I have finally found you ” Dalton mum said with a smile, she wanted to hug Delaney but she moved out of the way.
“This is bullshit” Delaney yelled with tears before running out of the hospital, Parker ran after her but she had already entered her car before he got outside, he entered another car and ran after her.

“I finally understand why mum hates me so much, it was because I am not her daughter” Brielle said in sadness, Dalton is having mixed feelings about the whole thing, at least he is a little relieved that he is not related to Brielle which means their relationship can continue. They all return home with different thoughts going through their mind.

Delaney was standing on a bridge, she was staring down at the big water below her, everything that happened some time ago kept replaying in her head.
“You are not an Everests, you are not an Everests, you are not an Everests” that is the word that keeps echoing in her head. How is she going to face people after they find out she is not an Everests, she doesn’t even want to think about it, she will become a laughing stock for both boys and girls, she will be mock and all, she doesn’t even want to imagine it, she is not ready to face the world so it will be better if she just end it right now. She looks at the water and breathes fearfully, it is so much that she will get lost in it the moment she jumps.
“Goodbye everyone, I wish you best of luck in this rubbish world” she said and closed her eyes, tears were falling from her eyes slowly, she suddenly jumped down but was quickly grabbed. She was dragged back up by the person, he took her off the bridge and took her to where her car was parked.
“Why did you ruin everything? You should have allowed me to die” she yelled and hit his chest angrily.
“And why did you want to die?” Parker asked, he was really disappointed in her.
“You know, don’t pretend” she yelled.
“So you want to die because you are not an Everests? I have never see a coward like you, I am so disappointed” he said and started going but she quickly grabbed his hand.
“You don’t understand, people will mock me, those that I have always bullied, they will make jest of me,” she said tearfully.
“You will just ignore them, it just for a little period of time, they will forget it. So because of that, you don’t think about your loved ones, who really cherishes you, you wanted to abandon them and go” he said sadly.
“I am so sorry, see the way mum looked at me, disgust was in there, I can see it” Delaney said, she can’t stop recalling Mrs Everest stare.
“You shouldn’t care about her, care about those that love you” Parker said.
“Thank you so much, I am sorry for being so selfish ” Delaney said and hugged him, he hugged her back and patted her back gently. A car park beside them and Autumn came out with Francisco, they went to join the hug without saying anything.

TWO DAYS LATER
Everything has been settled, Delaney is with her parents now, she refuses to talk to anyone except Parker, she doesn’t even give Dalton mum any chance which makes the woman sad, she finally realized the mistakes she makes in treating Brielle badly. Delaney hasn’t gone to school because of shame and Parker makes sure he visits her on a daily basis since he is the only one she talks to. He is trying his best to bring her back. Autumn is still trying everything possible to make Delaney talk to her, they know about Dalton and Brielle relationship now though the parents haven’t, Parker is no longer angry with Brielle anymore since he now understands Mr Everest is planning a surprise party for his family before his death.
Noah ran into their mansion , he was breathing heavily, Emily had actually called him and the way she was sounding made him really afraid.
“What is happening? Is everyone okay?” He asked since he met them both in the sitting room.
“Take us out, we want to eat seafood” they both said at the same time and that’s when he noticed they were already dressed. He breathed out in relief before sitting on the couch, he looked at the both of them without saying anything. They are batting their lashes cutely but he is not falling for that.
“It was mum’s idea” Emily said after noticing his stare.
“I told you not to cry,” Adelaide said.
“You said I should do what will make him rush here for a minute and that’s what I did” Emily said.
“I think he is angry with us, but he should at least say something,” Adelaide said with a pout.
“He looks scary. Should we run for our lives?” Emily asked. Noah almost chuckled but still kept a straight face.
“We are sorry, please don’t be angry, ” they both said at the same time. Noah sighedvand stand up, Adelaide pregnancy is really changing her personality and they haven’t even got to half of the month yet.
“Please don’t do that again, you almost gave me a heart attack,” he said.
“We won’t, we promise” they both said.

Noah watched as they ate their food, he was smiling, his heart filled with happiness, they meant the whole world to him, he took some pictures and stood up.
“I need to visit the restroom, I will be back” Noah said, Adelaide waved at him because her mouth was full! Of food, he laughed before going, he did his business and was about to go when his phone rang, it was an unknown number.
“Noah Everest, any third name?” The person asked after picking the call.
“Who is this?” Noah asked in confusion.
“I am Brandon Dennis, your worst nightmare, to prove my point I am going to get rid of the two special people in your life” the voice said. Picture of Adelaide and Emily at the restaurant was sent to him and his eyes widened in shock.
“What do you want?” Noah asked loudly.
“The answer will be later, for now get there on time and witness their death, I am sure you don’t want people to explain it to you, you will like to see it yourself ” Brandon said with a chuckle.
“Don’t go near my family”Noah yelled fearfully.
“Your time starts now,” Brandon said and hung up.
“Shit” Noah cursed and started running to the restaurant, he suddenly heard a gunshot and his eyes widened.
